Had a good day! Tomorrow is my big 3-0. Surprisingly uneventful, lol.
My dad got me a sturdy, nice, new desk. It goes well with my room. Earlier, my dad got me a new-to-me car, which I *definitely* appreciate. Here's hoping it lasts a good, long while (fingers crossed on this one).
We had a good dinner. Spare ribs, black eyed peas, bread. I got to spend some time with my dad. I lazed about the house, ate lots of fresh cherries.
Point is...I'm not freaking out as much. The neighbors are still acting up a good bit, but whatever. My parents love me, and that matters. I'm starting to realize that God loves me, too, and that matters.
Faith is a good thing. My older, wiser Pentecostal friend told me that she thinks Christ has done wonderful things for me, in part, so I can have faith in Him. That's one of the reasons for miracles, right? To give faith to the faithless and build faith among the faithful? Right.
I have increasing amounts of hope. My next session with Liberty Online begins in August. I'm looking forward to it. Maybe not "Fundamentals of Microeconomics" so much, but...overall, I'm excited. And I have hope for a future, thanks to Christ Jesus.
Love is the best thing ever! Jesus loves me, this I know, because my life and transformation tell me so. Also, my Pentecostal friend in Southern Georgia tells me, too, on a daily basis, which is amazingly helpful. My parents love me. I relate well to The Prodigal Son on so many levels
Anyway...file this one under "Praise Report" ! Since I come here so often with my problems, I thought I should come here with my praises, too.
