It's been a long while since I've been around here and I've missed cf.net!!!!
Both kids are being homeschooled now. My daughter's homeschool is computer based and she basically does her assignments herself with very little input from me.
But my son... oy vey! His school is curriculum based and while it's an excellent curriculum, it basically requires that I teach each subject. Which is OK... and I'm well pleased with his progress, but it's a full time job to be sure!!! There is no way for me to go to my own job for six hours now so after we finish with schooling for the day and I get supper done, etc... I work on my secretarial work at night. So, not much free time for me.
The reason why we pulled him from school and started homeschooling was because of ongoing asthma issues. Ironically, since he's been home, he hasn't had an asthma episode, not even once.
Meanwhile, I'm still working on the whole diabetes thing I shared before. Which is going quite well, fasting blood sugars are down to about 100 now, this without medicine, fully a result of counting carbs, exercise and completely ignoring the doctor's and their prescribed medications that got me into this fix in the first place! (Could wish it translated into lower weight but that hasn't happened.)
Anyway, Tom is working on a review so I've a few minutes and thought I drop by to say hi and tell everyone how much I miss being around.
