Are you asking about "Soaking Prayer", or just wanting to knock the TV nuts for awhile? One has nothing to do with the other.
Have you ever been involved in "Soaking Prayer"? There's really not a whole lot to it.
Now, that's interesting. You admit you've never been involved, at all... but you know all about it?No. There's nothing in the bible about it. It's more like eastern meditation, which is not like biblical meditation. And the grave soaking is pretty much necromancy. Where in the bible does it say that their spiritual power is left behind over their grave, and that we can go to it for an energy source. The occult is into energy hot spots for soaking up power. The new age church likes to jump on trendy, mystical bandwagons.
Now, that's interesting. You admit you've never been involved, at all... but you know all about it?
And now you are off on another tangent. Grave Soaking? I thought you titled this post, "Soaking Prayer"?
I've been in about thirty Soaking Prayer times... at various churches. It is a calm, relaxed time, very similar to the way the Bible describes how the Apostles were praying and singing hymns in prison when the earthquake struck. Or.... one of the Upper Room times.
It just might prove to be a smart idea to actually look at what is being presented to you sometimes, instead of just running with an idea you are cleverly being led to believe.
What do you have in this video? First, a guy who is searching hard to put together all the strangest videos he can find to discredit whatever he will show.
Secondly, cute little, disparaging remarks all through it about "little kindergarten blankies", and other such put-downs. Little barbs and laughing... to make sure you know how you are supposed to be thinking as you view this video.
And above all, you are listening to a "Soaking Prayer" guru with his wide-eyed sales pitch, half burying his nose in a camera, coaching an audience that has been primed to shout and holler on cue.
No insult intended, but are you REALLY that gullible? This is nothing more than the same techniques the salesmen hawking cleaning products and Ginzu knives on TV use.
If you are honestly doing something more than just trolling for supporting reactions, why don't you actually GO to a local church... go to SEVERAL.. and see for yourself what the facts are. ( I'll bet they won't be videoing it, either.)

The “Soaking Prayer” is one of many Contemplative prayer practices that isn’t found in the Bible. It is designed to empty your mind, and was developed by the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, now known as Catch the Fire Toronto. This group also gave rise to the “Toronto Blessing” and many aberrant practices such as holy laughter, making animal sounds, and being drunk or paralyzed in the Spirit. - Naomi's Table
Toronto Blessingkundulini:
I agree with there being a false move of the Spirit in the Churches.
The Kundalini spirit is trying to deceive many.
On the flip side, we must be careful not to whitewash everything as such.
Remember the warning from Jesus -
And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven. Luke 12:10
Please proceed with caution.
Thanks JLB
Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is denying Jesus Christ. Christians can not lose their salvation. We are called to test the spirits. I do *not* deny the power or the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Because they said He has an unclean spirit.
but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation"-- 30 because they said, "He has an unclean spirit."
They were calling the Holy Spirit by which He operated and cast out demons, an unclean spirit.
Specifically Beelzebub!
22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He has Beelzebub," and, "By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons." 23 So He called them to Himself and said to them in parables: "How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end. 27 No one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house. 28 "Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation"-- 30 because they said, "He has an unclean spirit." Mark 3:22-30

Well, since you don't want to see his simple point, but seem to want to split hairs about wording, take a look at Gamaliel, and his warning to the Sanhedrin....... "Be careful, you might find you are fighting against God."Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is denying Jesus Christ. Christians can not lose their salvation. We are called to test the spirits. I do *not* deny the power or the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Then wouldn't their be two unforgivable sins? Blaspheming the Holy Ghost and not believing in Jesus Christ's death burial and resurrection?
