Revelation 13
(14) And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
(15) And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Here is one of those views that I hold in the back of my mind because I’m not so sure it is credible enough, but does seem to have some credibility.
that they should make
According to Strong’s concordance this is the Greek word poieo and can mean “appoint†as translated in Hebrews 3:2.
Hebrews 3
(2) Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
(2) Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
an image
Jesus was the son of God (the image of God), so “an image†can mean “a sonâ€.
If the Greek grammar does indeed permit this translation, then “making an image†would be equivalent to “appointing a sonâ€.
give life unto the image
“Life†is the Greek word pneuma and means spirit or spirits.
Satan (a spirit) entered Judas, the son of perdition.
Just a thought to consider.
