Num 23:22 - God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn7214.
Num 24:8 - God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn7214: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce [them] through with his arrows.
Deu 33:17 - His glory [is like] the firstling of his bullock, and his horns [are like] the horns of unicorns7214: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they [are] the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they [are] the thousands of Manasseh.
Job 39:9 - Will the unicorn7214 be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
Job 39:10 - Canst thou bind the unicorn7214 with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
Psa 22:21 - Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns7214.
Psa 29:6 - He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn7214.
Psa 92:10 - But my horn shalt thou exalt like [the horn of] an unicorn7214: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
Isa 34:7 - And the unicorns7214 shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
Strong's H7214 - rĕ'em - רְאֵם
1) probably the great aurochs or wild bulls which are now extinct. The exact meaning is not known.

I'm sure you're correct in that God will judge the Idumeans (whomever they are) by killing all their rhinoceroses (whatever they are) and that it (whatever it is) hasn't happened yet.

It must be difficult being such a literalist in an ambiguous world.:salute
The bible contains literal statements with metaphoric emphasis, we all speak and write like that. Let me give an example; like a bull in a china shop so is Sinthesis with the word of God, he mounts up like an eagle in his arrogance, and like a whipped dog he retreats when challenged, like a skunk his stench fills the forum...do I need to go on? If you noticed I am making a lot of literal statements, just using methaphores for emphasis, that is exactly how the bible is to be read, literal with metaphoric emphasis.

You Sam just dont read like you are nice person.

Proverbs 1:23
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

Isaiah 66:2
For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Matthew 8:16
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

1 Corinthians 2:13
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Spiritual understandings of Old or New Testament Prophecy is 'no man's land.'

Any futile attempts at discussions of such matters based of fleshly physical views are a snare to the attempters and will rightfully suspend in arguments and confusions.

They are 'all' spiritual matters and involve these basic components:

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

If you have no inkling of who your enemies are that are engaged in the destructive prophecies of The Words of God, how do you expect to see? Sea?

Is there even one person who knows what the SEA is?

Is there even one person who knows the correlations of the HORSE?

There is not one jot or tittle of Gods Words that are wasted in showing these matters...and the above are the simple ones.

When anyone starts seeing red, they may start to understand.

Seeing red starts at home. It is there The Holy Spirit makes one humble and poor, miserable, wretched, blind and naked.

Til then, the strength of the horse will do and avail nothing and The Word will remain both locked and without understandings and definitely the source of confusions and strife as it is soooo meant to be.

Isaiah 42:19
Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?

There is good cause to fear and to tremble at The Words of God. May the Lord blind you all.

enjoy!

smaller, an admitted all of the above in a very small way

You Sam just dont read like you are nice person.
Reba you are reading it like a literalist, you have to read it like a preterist because that was for who it was intended, they don't take such things as literal so what I really said was what a wonderful person Sinthesis was(its all in the interpretation).

Please keep to topic.

It's very much on topic,as per scripture, when Christ returns,we shall all be changed

1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Question stands, why are we still in our flesh bodies????

It been fashionable lately for futurists to call up some passage and demand to know when the fulfillment took place in history, also implied in the demand is a literal application of the terms, specifically, celestial signs, and terms such as for ever.

Let me rephrase the question for ya...When were we changed as per the scripture I provided????

Spelled out,if Christ returned in 70ad why are we still in flesh bodies??????

You must have notice the text.

You could sure clear up a lot if you would explain why we are sti
ll in our flesh bodies...if it can be expained briefly please do so.

Quote me saying that Sam, you could sure clear things up :)

Don't you mean "like a unicorn/rhino in a china shop"? Honestly, some people would rather believe prophecy hasn't been fulfilled than accept that it might have been fulfilled in a way they don't approve of.

Mat 17:12 - But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
Mat 17:13 - Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

It's OK though. I challenge the way people look at prophecy because I've grown to understand that fulfilled prophecy strengthens faith. It's biblical.

1Cr 14:22 - Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying [serveth] not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

As for your spirit filled words about me; not fulfilled yet.:coolsmile

Jesus IS going to divide the Mt of Olives, wait and see.
Already fulfilled! If you can't see it, it's because your preoccupied with a meaningless physical worldly interpretation. It is the symbolism of the prophecy which demonstrates the real power of its fulfillment. A literal (with metaphoric emphasis:rolling) interpretation is laughably trite in the era of the Panama Canal.

7And the unicorns shall come down with them...
So instead of interpreting this figuratively, you'd rather wait until you see literal unicorns dying? Good luck with that.:thumbsup
I think it is a dangerous practice to try to explain away all scripture. Yes, some of the scripture is metephorical, but there is also a lot of events that were literally fullfilled in spectacular fashon. This is one of those events, as is splitting of Mt of olives that has clearly not seen a literal fullfillment, and any spiritual fullfillment is speculitive at best. I feel its best in these situations to reserve judgement and look for a literal fullfillment. later on i will ask Jesus myself. Ask yourself this, if my faith is so strong why do i feel the need to explain away all scripture.
