Matt 10:39 • He who loses his old sinful life for Jesus sake will find eternal life.
Matt 16:24-26 • Deny (lose) your old sinful life and follow Jesus to find eternal life.
Mark 11:25-26 • If you do not forgive everyone, Father God will not forgive your sins.

2 Cor 13:5 • Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith, unless you are disqualified.
Gal 5:19-21 • Believers who practice such sins will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Gal 6:7-8 • Sowing to the flesh reaps corruption; sowing to the Spirit reaps eternal life.
Eph 5:3-6 • Disobedient believers committing such sins will incur the wrath of God.
Col 3:5-6 • Disobedient believers committing such sins will incur the wrath of God.

Heb 10:26-27 • Believers who sin willfully can expect God’s fiery judgment.
Heb 10:36-39 • Endure in the faith, and do not be like those who draw back to perdition.
Heb 12:14 • Pursue holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
1 Pet 1:8-9 • Believing, you will receive the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.
2 Pet 1:10-11 • Be diligent to make your call and election sure, gaining the kingdom.

Rev 2-3 • All 7 churches are warned to repent and be overcomers to be:
given the crown of life, clothed in white garments, a pillar in the temple of God,
not hurt by the second death, etc.

Rev 21:27 • People committing these sins will not enter the New Jerusalem.
Rev 22:14-15 • People committing these sins will not enter the New Jerusalem.

might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.”
Yup ... might and should ... just about wraps it up!
Yup ... gotta pay close attention to every word!


In the NT, we have this incredible mixture of:
• Blessings
• Explanations
• Exhortations
• Warnings that the Blessings are conditional

Your morbid extraction of those scriptures to the intent of eternal damnation is NON EXISTING.

Can a believer 'sin' or even become blinded again by Satan in their life?

sure.

Does that mean they are going to be eternally roasted?

The Cross of Christ is bigger then my sin
Sure, of course, it is.
But, it doesn't stop you from abandoning the faith, walking away,
running away (as some have done), rejecting it, etc.

God gave you the free gift of grace-faith-salvation (Eph 2:8-9).
But, it is cancelled, if you cancel your faith.
It all depends if you stay in the faith.

Everyone takes this so personally.
But, it is a general charge ...
Is it possible for a BAC to lose interest, lose faith, and walk?

Then, why all of the warnings about LOSING eternal life?

So far, John Zain, you have not identified how or why someone would "lose" their salvation. All you have done is quote scripture that vaguely supports your position. Care to cut to the chase?
 
The point is, rather, that those who continue in a life of sin, whatever they might have once professed, are unlikely to have been truly born again in the first place.

Ephesians 2.10 is also relevant. Behaving like a Christian is evidence of being a Christian. Not that that likely non-Christians who don't live like Christians, either, were once Christians.

According to the Royal Law, there is no greater sin for a believer than to seek to condemn other believers. I agree, some seem to have a hunger to condemn other believers? We know this cannot be of Christ.

Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Jas 4:11 ¶ Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

Oh, Christians can't do any of those things, huh?

Ok, so, Hebrews 10 and 1 Cor. 6 cancel what Jesus said in Rev 21, so I guess we can erase all of these passage from the Scriptures, right?

Ok, so, if Paul is correct and Jesus is wrong, I guess everyone should follow Paul instead of Jesus, right? Everyone who wants to be saved should become Paulians, right? Are you going to do that?

Not behaving like a Christian is evidence of not being a Christian.

E.G. Have you ever behaved how a Christian should not behave?
