Bible Study spiritual Realm

I=first
we=second
they=third

As this has nothing to do with the spiritual realm I shall refrain from discussing this any further.

I could be wrong here, if I am forgive me. I wrote a post, and in the post I was talking about being in a car with a gal. Two of us in the car, and she starts talking as if there were a third party there. My guess was a demon- hence 3rd person.

If I am wrong get the rope and let's get it over with. :-D

Encountering demonic activity is true for every Christian in some level.

The main way we encounter demonic activity is through the mouths of false teachers in the churches:
1Ti 4:1 ¶ Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

It is not always an encounter with manifestations on the scale of screeching, writhing, hissing, foaming at the mouth, poltergeist phenomena, and whatever else is commonly assumed.

I would think that the more someone is walking in the power of the Spirit and doing God's will, the more extreme the demonic encounters. I've known people who have seen and had some very real encounters with demons, but they are few and far between.

Roaring Lion, Angel of Light

Roaring Lion, Angel of Light
  • 1 Peter 5:8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

    2 Corinthians 11:14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.
We are so use to thinking of demon spirit as the roaring lion, that we fail to see demon spirits disguised as an angel light, and/or servants of righteousness.

Jesus rebuked Peter ---
  • Mark 8:32 And Peter took Him [Jesus] aside and began to rebuke Him. 33 But turning around and seeing His disciples, He [Jesus] rebuked Peter and said, "Get behind Me,Satan; for you are not setting your mind on God's interests, but man's."
Jesus rebuked James and John ---
  • Luke 9:55 "But He turned and rebuked them, [ and said, "You do not know what kind of spirit you are of; 56 for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them."] And they went on to another village."
