I don't think it was Eve's prerogative to give hasatan power. That was Adam's doing. (Yhwh had given him the authority to keep or to give away.)

...sigh.... if only Adam and Eve had been Indians....... an Indian told me a couple days ago - if Adam and Eve were Indians , we would still have no sin in the world! (not due to them anyway).....

they would have not eaten the apple.......

:D But they were vegetarians most people think. Yeah snake might be good tucker I haven't tried it yet.

You can't blame Eve.God is the King.Much more powerful than Satan.I leave Satan up to God.
