Eh. Yes and no.
I like nice, comfortable clothes that don't take much work to put together. I'll wear 'em too and don't really care what people think. I'm not here to impress people.
On the other hand, I have a somewhat old-fashioned or Victorian style I like to dress in. Even something a bit dark, or mysterious. Kind of gothic, but not quite.
Or the medieval-fantasy nerd style, which isn't much of a style in the sense of the word, but fits in-between.

What you wear tells people what you think of yourself and thier worth in your presence. I tend to wear better quality clothing because it looks better and lasts longer. Ie Billabong surf clothing lasts for years. A tie i wear when forced into it. I Do attempt to wear clothing that is not cheap menswear stuff unless I am painting.

Yes, exactly! Lol. I was a very dark, mysterious looking pirate, was I not?
That was two or three Halloweens ago, I think. The last one I was an elf. No pics of that though. I tend to avoid cameras or make silly faces at them.

When working at the bar or waitressing I'm wearing the uniform which is basically a black polo shirt and dark trousers and black shoes only thing on it is my name badge and "SU Bar staff"
In my time off I mostly wear Jeans or Pilot trousers combined with some kind of V-neck or Scoop neck shirt and front zipped hoody.
When in the lab I proper leather shoes and a knee length white lab-coat and mad scientist safety goggles (which I often omit) Because you can't see anything with them on.
Sometimes however I do put the effort in and wear not more expensive but more colorful and pretty clothes some skirts patterned items usually when I want to make a good impression.
Mostly this is for the 1950's Shrinks most of them dealing with my condition, have very old fashioned stuffy and sexist views alot of the time on what a young woman of today ought to look like, Rather than sabotage myself fighting there backwards views it's eaiser just to play upto them ¬.¬ And even if that's not the case they can hardly accuse me of not trying.
... Or the other case is it's a special day like today... new-years or whatever and I wanna look good thus put the effort into outfits.
