Hi, my mom is on Eliquis the blood thinner, while she is on a heart monitor for 14 days. She got an infection that caused her to have an episode of Afib. I'm so scared because of the warnings on the medicine. Can i please get prayer that the Lord protects her during this time and that my out of control anxiety is calmed?

Also if anyone has good reports and knows someone on Eliquis and they are doing well PLEASE let me know? I need the help. I don't want to overreact.. we're so close, she's my best friend in the world. I don't have a husband to lean on.. I'm feeling quite lonely during this time.

Thank you. I hope i put this request in the correct forum.

❤️

Hello dear believer. I don't know anything about the drugs, but please don't worry no matter what happens. It's sad, but sad is ok. We can cry to our Lord. Be assured God works all things for you and your moms' welfare.

Bless this house. Thank you Lord Jesus.

I said a prayer for you, but also, have you heard of the 5 senses method for calming anxiety? Name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can touch, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. Also, slow breathing. Try meditating on scripture as well.

Thank you and yes ive heard of that, but never tried it. I will 🙂 as for meditating on Scripture YES. That is helping.

Hi ShadesOfApril

My husband is on Xarelto as he has two stents in his legs and uses this for the blood flow in his legs so he doesn't get blood clots. He doesn't have a heart problem, just Restless Leg Syndrome. You might want to ask her doctor about Xarelto instead of the Eliquis.

Also, my husband was in a horrific auto accident on March 2nd and was in the hospital for three months. My anxiety and stress level was through the roof to the point I would get dizzy and almost pass out going to the hospital every day and all the paperwork I have been working on for his short term disability, not to mention now taking him to therapy and doctor appointments because he is not allowed to drive yet. I went to Walmart and got a bottle of Nature's Bounty Anxiety & Stress relief and it has been helping so much. I'm also dealing with my elderly mother in a nursing home and her health issues. Her and I are very close, but fear we will lose her one of these days.

evenifigoalone gave you some good advice. You and your mother are in my prayers :pray
