Suicidal problem, what to do?

Well he did not kill himself last night but i now really am ticked off at the Police. They went to the guys house last night at 1:20AM and said "we got a tip from a John Muise from Halifax"

:o What the heck is wrong with them :-? for one the gave the suicidal guy my name and said i live in Hailifax even after i told them 3 times that i live in Yarmouth. :x

I will not deny that with some young people they tend to shout suicide to get attention. At the same time, it is difficult to tell them sometimes from the ones who are sincere. Which is why each threat of suicide should be taken seriously.

Oh man...if your alleged suicidal friend said this.....perhaps it is just me....maybe even judgemental of me...but I would question the value of the friendship. What kind of person pulls such a dirty trick? Suicide is no laughing matter....I cannot believe the nerve of some people.

Hi John,

Couple of things I thought of.
1. The police probably reveaed your idenity because he is a juvenile. This would seem to be standard with the current status of pedefiles and all. ( not to imply anything towards you a well meaning and concerned christian citizen)

2. Read my post under "Convert Me" I don't want to repeat it but I very nearly killed myself in more than a few ways. My testimony may help others who feel like I did back then.

3. You are a good man John no matter what happens you have demonstrated love for a neighbor. That demonstrates Christs love to him and is a light to the young man who obviously is in a dark place. just keep that light burning gently and steadily he will be drawn towards it.
