Summer Training Begins.

7 days till i leave for 3 months of brutal training : So this week is going to be pretty busy getting ready!

There is a lot on the plate:

Grenade Training.
C6 GPMG (Machine gun)
C9 MG (Machine gun)
C7A1 Rifle
105 Towed Howitzer
Domestic Operations
Various SWAT style stuff (building sweeping, hostages, sniper etc)
Hand to hand stuff.
Hanging out downtown Sault St.Marie with Stovebolts (maybe)

I will post pics showing the whole summer and other events so keep checking back.

I will pray for you during your training. It sounds truly intense, :x !!!!!!!!
I would bet you understand quite a bit more about being a soldier for Christ than I do. That's kinda cool. 8-)

I'll keep an eye peeled for your pics too~ that should keep me up on what to talk to Jesus about specifically for you.

Anyway, I talked to my wife about taking the boat up there and doing some camping on a deserted island or something, and she just laughed at me I don't know what the big deal is about taking a boat up the lake a bit :wink: She seems to think I need some kind of boat navigation training first. Wonder if a Garmin would help :-D

hey, I'll just tell her all we have to do is listen for the ammo rounds :-D

Its an armory, not a base so the rounds we fire will be either somewhere else in Ontario most likely. 8-)

In my prayers John, hate I didnt get to say goodbye with recovering from heatstroke, but maybe you'll have the opportunity to check in later. I didn't see any bug spray bud! Unless that was it in the green bottle of the first supply pic. May God's strength and wisdom and endurance to prevail be a lamp at your feet John. In your training may each step before you take them be willed and anointed by God.....onward Christian Soldier!!! Your name will be put in my prayer bowl for daily coverage in HIS name. GBU
See you back soon from training. And please be careful of heatstroke, it was on me before I knew what it was, and with the intense training you're in, it could happen easy. Recovery is slow cause any amount of heat on you seems to set one back a few steps.....plenty of water John!!!!!
