thank you for finally answering my original question. Now I think that seperate arrangements can be made for people who identify outside of their physical gender. No need to make a big stink about it.

If you research the actual court case, the issue is far more insidious. GG is a transgender child and the school dealt with the issue by at first allowing GG to shower in the nurses shower so GG would not have to shower with either boys or girls and no one would have to be uncomfortable. The school then looked at the issue and arrived at a more comprehensive solution and policy of creating 4 or 6 private showers that were available to all children (to deal with ANY potential problem that might make them uncomfortable). The parents of GG then sued the school for the 'right' of GG to be allowed to shower with the biological opposite gender, and lost the court case. An appeals court overturned the decision and went further to state that the transgender student was required to shower with the gender they identified with rather than their biological gender and the school was forbidden from providing alternative facilities. Violation would be a breach of title X and disqualify the school from receiving federal funds.

The school got the SCOTUS to block the enforcement of the appeals court decision that would have required them (and all schools within that District Court Jurisdiction) to permit cross dressing boys to shower with girls or loose Fedeal Funding. The SCOTUS is being asked by the County to overturn the appeals court and permit schools to offer alternatives. The parents of GG want the SCOTUS to expand that decision to apply to all schools in the US.

That is the actual issue before the Supreme Court.
 
Speaking as a guy who remembers what it was like to be a teen (barely) I don't think there would be many male teens who would have an objection to having a female (regardless of how she ID's) come take a shower with them. The stupidity of the law and the left really knows no bounds......

Ah, I see. Sounds like the parents wanted to make a stink even though the school was more than accomodating. Some people.

The Author chose to title the article that it was Chilldren showering with Transgender. Why not just add ChildRen to the end of the Transgender part? Unless the person publishing the article wanted to coax an emotional response by making this sound like it's an attack on children.

Because adult men can identify as a woman and use the women's locker room. It's already happened.
 
I will never believe that transgender children are anything but the product of suggestion combined with the desire to rebel. There is so much talk of this, it's self perpetuating. Kind of like the solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

As the LBGT sells the notion that a much higher percentage of people are gay than actually are, the media sold the idea that transgenderism is a thing. It all serves their purpose of making this normal. Some will say I'm an out of touch 50 year old. I'll say they have consumed the message. I'm not saying these kids are monsters. Quite the opposite. Generations ago, they might act out by smoking or stealing. Now, they are rebeling by playing the part of transgender. Nothing new under the sun.
 
I once commented at a meeting that if there were a problem in the girl's bathroom I could go in and investigate. "You're a guy. You'll need to go get one of the female teachers." I was told.

Not so said I. I'll just identify as a female and go in and take care of the problem. Perfectly legal (if I wanted to make the point). Nothing wrong with me going in the bathroom even IF a 5th grade girl is in there doing her business. If I identify as a woman, and the school refuses to allow me access to the girls room, I can sue. According to the law. what matters is my word. If I say I am female, I am female. Never mind the beard or dingleberry. Only my claim matters.

Of course I'd never do that. But I asked a school board member that very question and was told it was legal for me if I was identifying as a woman. Mind you, gender is fluid. I can change genders at the drop of a hat. However I am fully male.

Now don't get the wrong Idea. I am fluid. Not gender fluid. I am species fluid. Sometimes I identify as a sasquatch. Depends on my mood and how long it's been since I've showered.

look God did not create transgender adults or Children .. with children it is because some knot headed so called perverted adult embedded it into their mind. if there is separate arrangements maybe it should be a building of there own with one bathroom. the former prison Alcatraz would make a great building /colony

Are you saying that Gender Identity Disorder doesn't exist? Its a well documented disorder. I'm not on board with whit the whole gender spectrum concept, but hormonal imbalances causing issues where the mind is convinced its the opposite gender makes sense since most of our gender signifiers are caused by hormones.

When I hear this argument I wonder if people are aware that there are a decent amount of people born with chromosome disorders and born hermaphrodite.

what i am saying being born with chromosome disorders and born hermaphrodite. does not cause one to get a breast job like a woman and still be male nor does it cause one to be a cross dresser . this is a biological disorder which has nothing to do with those who think they are a woman like Bruce Jenner

you are aware that hormones are a part of our physical biology and can our brains do messed up things right? Like the wrong hormonal imbalance can cause Schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, adiction. Ect. It's still a biology issue if someone thinks of them self as the oposite gender. Women are also effected by GID.
