Symbolism and the Temple

I'm not sure if this is my imagination or something the Holy Spirit put into my mind and heart, but it makes sense, to me.

I think the temple is symbolic of our relationship with Christ. It has three sections, the outer court, inner court, and the Holy of Holies, right? Scripture says God does not dwell in a temple made by hands. It also says that we are the temple now. It also says that God will pitch His tent with us and dwell within us. But the Lord is in the Holy of Holies part.

So perhaps the outer court is symbolic of us when we get saved.
Then we learn, progress, draw closer to the Lord and are allowed to go to the inner court, where there is more revelation and more growth (and more trials, lol)...

...and then, there is the holy of Holies...but it isn't just there, there is two things in front of it, right? The incense table and then the veil...isn't that right?

In the Holy of Holies...God will manifest Himself to us? (John 14:21)
But not before we pass the table of incense? (2 Corinthians 2:15?)

I'm not positive yet. I'm still chewing on this. Interesting that the Temple has 3 parts.
Outer court = our body?
inner court, our soul?
Holy of Holies, our Spirit?

There's something deep here. I'm just not finished yet.

That is true, but still, no one gets to see behind the veil for free, for nothing.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. John 14:21/


8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God./

That takes action and effort on our part. Not a work, like some might say. That's doing, it is being. Right? Becoming. We become through reading his word and praying, it changes us. He changes us if we go into His presence.

Isn't there a scripture that says our prayers go up like a nice incense to God? I think there is. So the table of incense symbolizes
Our prayers, and makes us smell good to God. We have to smell good to walk through the veil.

Maybe that's why that one guy in scripture got beat up by the evil spirit and had to run away naked? He didn't smell right. We're also told in scripture to arise and shine, to let our light shine and that would come from being.

I'm starting to understand that everything we do, speak or think, has an effect on us and in the spiritual realm.

So as we go deeper inside (our own temple) We approach the Holy of Holies within us. Coming into the presence of God in Spirit, Praising and Worshiping our creator. This is when we receive. We allow the Lord to work on changing us, so we become one with Him. It is a process. A sanctification. Then eventually we will get promoted and the veil is gone.

and the sacrifices done in the temple must symbolize anything in this matrix, that we give up in order to spend the time with Him, instead.

I'm starting to understand that everything we do, speak or think, has an effect on us and in the spiritual realm.

Our words must mean something.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:21 KJV

The outer court is symbolic of the worldly people that keep not the commandments of God and are none of His own

The inner court is symbolic of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit where we first come to know the hidden mysteries of His word

Holy of Holies is symbolic of the Shekinah glory of the Lord within us as we are a sweet fragrance to Him and His light shines through us

Every sacrifice in the OT, IS Jesus. And He fulfilled them all ...
