Symbolizing the Bible by the will of man is the deceptive game of the devil. It corrupts both prophecy and doctrine of Christ.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Once we begin symbolizing parts of the Bible, that is not already plainly symbolic in nature, we start to rewrite the words of God according to our own will. And once we do so with prophecy, we will also do so doctrinally.

In fact, the first example of symbolizing God's words away from their exact meaning, was the serpent in the garden:

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die.

The first subtlety of the the serpent leading to the first sin of Adam and Eve, was to symbolize the prophecy of God for transgressing His commandment.

You're not really going to die. God's not being literal. He's only being symbolic. It's just an allegory for disobeying Him. It's just a principle, not a sentence.

Symbology is the devil's tool for turning the prophecies and the doctrine of the Bible into nothing but more fables of man.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.

When God says His words of prophecy and doctrine are sure, He's saying they are to be taken literally. He really does mean it. He's not just being symbolic, allegorical, nor stating a general principle.

End of times prophecy is made so confused, like a Picasso surreal painting, because interpreters paint it full of symbology with their own hands. God never says it's symbolic, but is sure as the plain meaning of the words written by Himself.

Those who symbolize his words into fables, don't believe exactly what He says, because they don't take God seriously, like they do authors of other books. To them, God's words are not really true as written, because God is a Spirit and not a real person Himself.

God is a real Person, and He knows the difference between true events and symbolic principles. The power of God is to bring about real events, whether historical or future, that also have allegorical meaning and principles to live by.

It doesn't take being rid of the sure events and prophecy, in order to understand the spiritual and symbolic meaning.

By symbology man attempts to disannul the death sentence for sin, the torment of hell, and the coming of the Lord again to earth to rule over all nations.
