If you've taken the time to research the word 'bow', then you must realize it has nothing to do with a 'bow' that requires arrows.

G5115 τόξον

KJV Usage: bow. G5088
Thayer:
1) a bow
Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words

τίκτω
to produce (from seed, as a mother, a plant, the earth, etc.), literally or figuratively
Derivation: a strengthened form of a primary τέκω (which is used only as alternate in certain tenses);
KJV Usage: bear, be born, bring forth, be delivered, be in travail.
Thayer:
1) to bring forth, bear, produce (fruit from the seed)
1a) of a woman giving birth
1b) of the earth bringing forth its fruits
1c) metaph. to bear, bring forth

Jesus' Bow is Him bringing us the New Covenant.:clap

Can't agree, satan always tries to imitate christ, that's the key to understanding end time prophecy,it's all about deception, meaning knowing the true Christ from the fake and that's what we have here...

Speaking of satan trying to imitate Jesus Christ but always falling short; let's examine the Crowns that these two different Horsemen on white horses are wearing. Actually satan isn't wearing his, it only has been given to him. And God does allow satan to reign on earth for one hour (known as the hour of temptation) which is a literal five month period of time (Rev 9:5 + 10) immediately prior the return of the True Messiah Jesus Christ at His prophesied Second Advent. And the True Jesus Christ returns wearing many crowns, for He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Satan is just a chump, an imitator, a spiritually dead-man walking, a condemned soul who will deceive the ignorant and the apathetic into following him into the lake of fire.

Here's satan's (antichrist's) crown:

Rev 6:2
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

And now here is our True Messiah Jesus Christ's many Crowns:

Rev 19:12
His eyes were as a flame of fire
, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

There are four horsemen spoken of in Rev. 6, namely the riders of, respectively, (v.2) the white horse, (v.4) the red horse, (v.5) the black horse, and (v.8) the pale horse.

A description is given for each horse. For the white one, (v.2) “Its rider had a bow; a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering and to conquer.”

For the red one, (v.4) “And out came another horse, bright red; its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people would slaughter one another; and he was given a great sword.

For the black one, (vss. 5&6) “When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature call out, "Come!" I looked, and there was a black horse! Its rider held a pair of scales in his hand, and I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's pay, and three quarts of barley for a day's pay, but do not damage the olive oil and the wine!"

For the pale one, (vss. 7&8) “When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature call out, "Come!" I looked and there was a pale green horse! Its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed with him; they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, famine, and pestilence, and by the wild animals of the earth.
(the above verses from the New Revised Standard Version).

Now let’s turn to Matthew 24, where Yahshua the Messiah was explaining to His disciples about end-time events yet to occur, very likely in our own day. Note in verse 3, as He sat on the Mount of Olives, His disciples came to Him privately and asked when will the events He had just described take place, and what would be the sign of His coming, and of the end of the age.

So, in v. 4, He said, “Take heed that no man deceive you, for many shall come in My name, saying ‘I am the Messiah,’ and shall deceive many.” These false messiahs and false prophets are represented by the white horse’s rider in Rev.6:2. The false religious systems of this world (Roman Catholic and her daughters the Protestants, along with Islam), are the chief culprits here. They have deceived billions of people worldwide, and it is prophesied to get worse as we get closer to the end.

The “bow” is a symbol of war. Who enforces their religion with the death penalty for non-believers in their system? Moslems? He was given a crown – by whom? Satan? Certainly not Yahweh!

Clearly this horse and this man do not represent the returning Savior. His triumphant return is heralded in the 19th chapter of Revelation, after these other events have taken place.

Now, let’s notice what takes place after this religious deception – what the other horses and their riders represent. The second (red) one – v. 4, permitted to take peace from the earth – a great slaughter by the sword.

Now notice the next thing Yahshua spoke in Mat. 24:6-7: “Wars, rumors of wars, nation against nation.” This is symbolized by the red horse.
Next, continuing in Mat. 24:7, “..and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different places.”

Now, back to Rev. 6 – this time, vss. 5-6: Black horse – scales denoting food shortages and being rationed out – famines. This will cause widespread pestilences (disease epidemics) that will kill millions. Natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, cyclones, tornados, hurricanes; in short, nature gone wild.

Mat. 24:8 All these things are only the beginning of sorrows! Can you imagine? Millions sick and dying, and the worst is yet to come!

Mat. 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for My Name’s sake! And then the real tragedy (v.10), and then shall many be offended and shall betray one another and shall hate one another (these are Believers who are giving up their faith to save their skins).

This corresponds with Rev. 6:7-8, the pale green horse: “Its rider’s name was Death and Hades (the grave) followed with him; they were given authority over a fourth of the earth to kill with sword, famine, disease (pestilence), AND by wild animals of the earth.”

The earth’s population will be so decimated that wild animals will increase and attack some of those people who are left alive.
Yahshua continues in Mat. 24:11-12: And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

But the good news is in verse 13: “But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.”
Brethren and sisters, this is all the more reason to strive with all our might to truly “endure to the end.” This life is at best temporary – our future lies in Yah’s Kingdom as Spirit beings – not in this sinful, worldly, temporary flesh.

Now, notice Mat. 24:14. “This gospel (good news) of the Kingdom shall be preached (and published, Mark 13:10) in all the world for a witness to all nations, and then shall the end come.”

Who will do this preaching? Who will witness to all the world? Consider the world conditions we have just studied through – false messiahs, false prophets, famine, disease epidemics, wars, persecution on every side, nature gone wild. Will we still be able to carry His words of Good News to all the world? I think not. I believe this is where the Two Witnesses of Rev. 11 come on the scene. They will preach the Good News from the streets of Jerusalem via satellite television to the entire world, as a witness against the beast system for 3-1/2 years. See Rev. 11:1-10. Then they will be killed and lie in the streets, viewed by the entire world, for 3-1/2 days, v. 9, until Yahweh revives them and calls them to heaven, vss. 11-12.

So, to sum up, the four horses and riders of Revelation 6 correspond to Yahshua’s previous prophecies in Mat. 24, and the white horse is in NO WAY ridden by our Savior, Yahshua the Messiah. His triumphant return takes place after all these events have passed, and is just prior to His raising of the Firstfruits, and setting up of His Kingdom here on earth. He will fight this beast system and destroy it, as recorded in Revelation 19–20.~

Revelation 13:11 "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."

This beast coming up out of the earth looks like a Lamb [Jesus Christ], yet he speaks like a dragon; because he is the dragon [Satan]. He claims to be Jesus, and most Christians will believe him.

Again,it's all about deception, that's why Christ told us not to be........

Can there be any doubt the the Tribulation affecting the ME are the countries below
And we are at the start of the ''Tribulation''?.

Which tribulation? The tribulation of believers in Matthew 24:9 and John 16:33, or the tribulation of Jerusalem and Judea (Matthew 24:21) during the war with Rome that happened from 66 to 70 AD?

Those are the only two tribulations mentioned in the New Testament.

I am inclined to agree here to some extent, though i see it more specifically as the word of God, meaning the bible itself... I see rev 19 as a simular metephorical depiction. And thus the other horsemen as false messages

Truly, truly!

Oh, & look, according to Adam Clarke (Bible commentator) he too believes in no fictional rapture of the church (just to have spiritual joy!)

3And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And not only so - We are not only happy from being in this state of communion with our God, and the prospect of being eternally with him;
But we glory in tribulations also - All the sufferings we endure for the testimony of our Lord are so sanctified to us by his grace, that they become powerful instruments of increasing our happiness.
Tribulation worketh patience - Ὑπομονην, Endurance under trials, without sustaining loss or deterioration. It is a metaphor taken from refining metals. We do not speak thus from any sudden raptures, or extraordinary sensations we may have of spiritual joy: for we find that the tribulations through which we pass are the means of exercising and increasing our patience, our meek forbearance of injuries received, or persecutions experienced, on account of the Gospel.

And there are actually "11" horns" spoken of in Daniel 7. The "little horn" of inquiry by Daniel was (& still is for the saints who were given the kingdom!) the most significant. Amen

Note: Daniel's enumeration starts with Pompey, & not Julius Caesar (as per John's in Rev17:10)

It's all in the past........so read it & rejoice!

1) Pompey (52-49 BC) sole ruler of Rome.
2) Julius (47-44 BC)
3) Augustus (Octavian) (31BC-AD14)
4) Tiberius (AD14-37)
5) Caligula (Gaius) (AD37-41)
6) Claudius (AD41-54)
7) Nero (AD54-68)
8) Galba (AD 68-69)
9) Otho (AD 69)
10) Vitellius (AD69)
11) Vespasian (AD 69-79)

And the main reason why the 11th is called a "little horn" is bc in a fine tune of the prophecy(& actual history)- Vespasian sent his son Titus (who wasn't emperor till '79) to finish the war against the Jews.

That rider is Jesus; His bow is the new covenant; His crown was given Him by His Father; and Christianity has been conquering the world ever since. Figurative spiritual warfare. Go figure.:biggrin

Of course. ;)

We may differ about when Christ returns "ruling the nations with a rod of iron" in Rev.19 - now- with the MANY CROWNS (of victory)
but it's for sure His followers are depicted as riding WHITE horses too!

Can there be any doubt the the Tribulation affecting the ME are the countries below
And we are at the start of the ''Tribulation''?.

They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from [being] a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah

Psa:83v4-8.

God bless .....Ivanm

P.s we can put the views of Hal Lindsay firmly to bed i would say!

The countries that you named are not the ones that would likely fit into Daniel 7;24
What you are suggesting is that the antichrist would be Islamic,..and that of course, would be very incorrect.

The antichrist will come out of the revived Roman empire.
Anyone who wishes to debate this,..I say bring on your best mentors,..and they will fall to the wayside on my left and to my right like flies.

Allow me to save you gunslingers some time,..you are going to have to prove that Ezekiel 38 does not occur slightly prior to Daniels 70th week,......Sorry guys,..it cannot be done scripturally.
Hal lindsey "TODAY" has more knowledge and insight that all the postee's and pre-wrathers put together.:lol

My point...only pre-trib fits the bill.

I probably agree with many of your ideas, however you have overlooked a tiny little fact...there is no pre-trib rapture in the bible, there really isn't. Pre-trib is an extra biblical concept developed by a man(Darby) and assumed to be biblical,if you read ONLY the BIBLE you will not find a pre-trib rapture, you will find a post-trib rapture in Matt24,Mark13,and in the Thess letters, however no pre-trib anywhere. One cannot create a pre-trib rapture from the bible by presenting scenarios where a pre-trib rapture would fit because the bible has not established that there IS a pre-trib rapture. Note,pre-trib is based on ideas, first the idea that Jesus description of His return was DIFFERENT than Paul's description of Christ return, there is zero evidence to back up this idea, actually all the evidence demonstrates that Paul indeed described the same return of Christ that Jesus described. If you compare Jesus and Paul's description of the return of Christ then you will see that they are one and the same.

"the antichrist will be a revived Roman Empire!" :lol

I would like to say that Terry from Raptureready.com makes a lot of sense in what he has pointed out about the current events of the Prime Minister from Rome Italy.
Well, today I came to realize something eles that could be added to what Terry has pointed out, if Israel should join the European Union as a full member, or how ever that may turn out.
I realized that if Israel did join the E.U.....that Israel would be basicly under the European Government and that it would cause the following prophecy to be fulfilled also.
"Daniel 7;25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
"Times and Laws"...in essence European Union Laws.
