The ban on fossil fuel vehicles, and stoves is just a war on oil, while forcing the battery electric vehicle agenda

miamited yes today I can get a gas car. I am concerned about tomorrow and what these people pushing EVs are not understanding by telling people not to buy ICE anymore. I have a problem with people waging wars on the fossil fuel industry and the auto industry, which is currently happening. I would prefer sticking with ICE in protest against these wars and rejecting EVs is also a protest against these wars.

The war against oil needs to stop. The war against ICE needs to stop. Let people decide what's best for them. That's not what is really happening though.

The thing here I'm trying to say here is those who are pushing EVs are doing so in an evil manner. They're not going to stop unless something is done to correct and teach people to stop doing this way.

Who? I haven't heard anyone saying not to buy ICE vehicles, that matters. I mean yea, Greta Thunberg says we should all buy EV. So?! That's an opinion expressed by, what many of us would refer to as, a 'tree hugger', but it isn't policy or have any kind of authority over what I choose to do the next time I'm looking for a vehicle. We are all allowed our own opinions and understanding of things. We just can't always 'do' or 'act' based on just our opinion and understanding of things.

Well, that's coming. Whether we do away with ICE vehicles or not. Either in some 58 years when we run out, or....
I'm really not seeing any 'war' in the auto industry. As an industry it seems to be getting on board pretty well.

You lost me with 'evil manner'. It's just marketing. It's what the U.S. has been famously good at since it's inception as a nation. It's a new technology and there's a fairly large group that supports it and wants to see it grow...so it will. As yet, nothing has changed and isn't going to for quite some time yet as regards anyone's ability to use, buy or sell the current vehicles that are on the road today.

Yes, the whole world is worried about depleting the ozone or whatever it is that is supposedly happening that we are fearful of, and yes, that part of any agenda is likely based on a lack of knowledge of God's word. But that's not limited to this issue of moving to electric current to move vehicles.

God bless,
Ted

miamited well it's a regular occurrence on social media that you shouldn't be buying ICE. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it isnt a problem.

With that said, I have just seen first hand information for the remaining portion this decade that EVs are still going to remain a small portion of automotive sales and ICE sales are set to pick back up. A lot of EV sales are also fleet sales.

So regardless what the auto industry may be indicating the actual numbers show that ICE will remain majority of the market. Overall it doesnt mean they will get back their actual sales numbers but its projected that at least they will make half of what they regularly produce. EVs on the other hand is set to sell up to 10% by the end of the decade. Doesn't mean it will get to 10%.

A lot of the push back from EVs is showing automotive execs EVs will not replace ICE anytime soon. Not this decade anyways. The projection that the left claims for EVs isnt matching at all what will actually be produced. Projections show EVs 'might' get to 10% sales by 2030. Not anywhere close to being half way.

Can you post that ?

I know that the electricians here will charge a limb to convert plug to 240

Florida and California have the most ev..i don't see them selling locally but mostly teslas. .Wawa here is the only public charging set up .

These are near I 95 .

I believe bucees has that as well .

jasonc what do I need to post?

Yeah it's real expensive to get a proper charging system for your home/garage

You can look up how many vehicles are in California, tried to find a proper percentage but so far they have almost half a million EVs.

Tried to get a comparison from ICE registered but don't have time to do that.

The statement by the car makers out side of Toyota.

jasonc here's another article for you.

My first car was a k car.

And I don't miss fwd cars .

jasonc early FWD had transmission shifting problems? I'm not sure how this equates to my grand am working well in snow? No it doesn't have AWD or wheel drive like trucks do. The only problem I ever had was in the 2011 Blizzard where snow got packed under the car and had to dig it out the next morning after getting a ride to a motel.

Less stability and also the older cars am were rear wheel drives . Imagine even a awd set up not able to handle snow

My point is the width and it's low center of gravity of your car is why I don't miss it.

Even then roll overs are more likely with fwd

jasonc since I've only driven a few FWD GM and Hondas I can't really speak to the problems they have, I don't have any stability issues with my Grand Am.. that's really all I know.

Im remember the new rule on why cars now why are that wide.the federal mandate not soon after made them have that wider car and lower center of gravity .

If you look at the older cars they are not as wide and sit a bit taller .

Remember you are turning your drive wheels ,that changes handling . You can't lock a turning axle .it must slip

That and we'll traction is affected .
