I've been running after you since day one

I felt I had no other woman who'd love me more

And it wasn't just about sex

And wasn't just about me

But they made me believe that

And I felt useless

That I was powerless to do anything

And as the time rolled on

I fell

And deep sickness sorrounded me

There was no way forward

There was no way back

And even though I repented their way

Untill my heart was damaged beyond repair

Life saw fit to throw me back in a hole

And there in the darkness

I found what I was looking for

Then I busted out like the bat from hell

And I came chasing after you

But don't think I didn't count the cost

When you tied me up in the courts of man

But resistance is futile my dear

You just can't fight how your made

You know that about me now

And I'm glad

Because the cat that's out of the bag

Is you.

The poem sounds like a man stalking a woman that doesn't want anything to do with him.

I bet a lot of people have had a simular experience of a broken heart and not knowing what to do or how to heal or move on. They don't nessassarily try to get the girl back and then go to court, but it is a struggle to move on if you still think you love them, or you think your heart is broken and you can't love anyone else again.

From my experience a relitionship broke my heart and broke me. When it ended there was only despair and if I got any strength back the moments of strength went to her, and how I could win her back. This only made it worse, and wasn't the right decision. It took time to get through to the conclusion that her and I were never again going to be something, and some time longer to get past that as well. But move on we must. Some day might even find someone else who is better still. The person who heals your heart and loves you. Who really helps finish the job of moving on. That's the way my sorrows ended.

It does not have to be like the poem.
