The Boredom Thread (lol)

Is there anybody there? I'm just really bored right now while I'm waiting for the pizza to be ready.

I'm awfully bored right now. The cat's sitting by me and I'm way too comfortable to move. Does anybody want to chat?

One of my cats is driving me up the wall. He seems to think he can walk on the ceiling, and of course falls to the floor. Freddie is the nuttiest cat I have ever had.

Lol! :lol Cats, you have got to love them right? By the way I just got your message and I agree. I would think that what makes me a Christian is that I love Jesus and I always hold Him close to my heart. Unfortunately, not everybody agrees with me on that and they tell me no that to be a Christian I have to always go by the book. In this case it would be the Bible, and although I believe that it is very important to read and understand the Bible, God just simply did not write it and there are just some things in there that I don't believe would come out of Jesus' mouth. It's like a game of telephone. Something that they said He said gets passed around and might have been totally different than what He said originally. Please don't hate me for this guys, just stating what I believe that's all. And considering that I'm posting this argument in the lounge, I don't think I'm going to get too much trouble out of it this time.

Hebrews 10: 15, 16 NKJV

15 But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,
16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws onto their hearts; and in their minds will I write them."

What exactly does that mean?

To me it means that you have the bible but you have the promise also that The Holy Spirit will guide you too. He will put into our hearts and write in our minds what He wants us to do.

Oh I see, and to me that means that we're all allowed to have our own interpretations of the scriptures too. At least that's what I think you are saying since none of us were actually around back then to know for sure.

Perhaps Eugene can explain it better

I pray to find the truth and for the courage to follow it. Then I trust the Holy Spirit to guide me as to what I believe and how to live by it.

That is only my interpretation.

By the way, how do I get Freddie off the top of the heating boiler? I can't reach him even with the ladders.

I'm sorry, I really wish that I could help you but unfortunately I can't.

I shook the treat tin and he jumped down :)

Well that's good. I'm sorry that it took me so long to respond by the way but I was busy watching a video that I had posted.

I can't believe I'm saying this but as of right now I have run out of ideas to post. So right now while I'm waiting for my sinuses to drain completely, I'm just laying back and watching the fourth HP movie. Anybody want to chat with me? I am proud to say that I'm feeling much better though and I should be back to writing stories soon.

Anybody up for talking? I know it's late, but funny enough I didn't really feel like posting an awful lot. I didn't have all that much to say actually.

I haven't been here since the start of March,.. wow. Anyway I don't feel good right now and I will be going to bed after this episode of Naruto is over, but if anybody wants to chat about anything until then, please let me know.
