Growth The Bride of Christ

"I will go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:3

We are the Bride of Christ. Several places in the New Testament refers to the church as the Bride of Christ. When we are a bride we choose to forsake all others and commit to our husbands "in health and in sickness, in prosperity and in adversity, share with him to joys and sorrows of life, and exercise patience, kindness and forbearance toward him and live with him in peace...forsaking all others, keeping yourself only unto him as long as you both shall live."

This covenant between and husband and wife only lasts until the death of one of the spouses, but the vow made with Christ lasts beyond death. Our commitment to Christ is forever!! Death does not and cannot part us from Him. Instead of separating us, death ushers us into the presence of our Beloved to be united with Christ forever. What a powerful blessing and and a wonderful prospect for a believer!

in jewish thought that is the house of your family under the blessings of god.

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

As a Bride of Christ there is nothing that can separate us unless we allow ourselves to be separated and why would we even want to be separated to one who loves us so unconditionally.

You would be surprised how many people will separate themselves from the love of God. Shame that they don't understand or don't want to submit to His love.

I look at it this way, if they separate then they truly never knew Him....................it's the greatest love of all :woot2
