Bible Study The Calf and the Ox

I am a son to my Father, a servant to my brothers and sisters in the Lord, and I am a bond servant to the One who paid a high price for me. I am a bride to my bridegroom, and a helper of the widow, the orphan, and the homeless. I am all those things, and I love every minute of it.....!
And I think your beating a dead horse, ezrider.:)

Well, its better to beat a dead horse than it is to run around playing the fool and claiming to ride a stallion.

Well, you certainly hit one key thing. We are sons to our Father; And we are to be servants to one another.

But if you could explain in your own words, what makes you a "Bond Servant" of Jesus? What task has he called you to do?

what makes me a bond servant? He bought me with a great price, and all He asks me to do for Him, is to tell the world all He has done for them, and to love them all unconditionally!

Okay, can you please continue explaining yourself?

If you were purchased with a great price, were you not then set free? If you are free, then how are you bond?

From whom were you purchased, or to whom were you sold under prior?

Yes, free at last, thank God Almighty I was free at last.... Free to serve whomever I chose, it wasn't something I had that I had the
opportunity to chose. But I was free to chose, the call of the world that had me in bondage and death, to the one who gave me a new life, and I chose Him to serve and love. Like the slaves of old that were set free, but chose to stay with their good masters. And they were given a mark in their ear, a mark that testified that they chose freely to serve the
master.
I was born into the world, the ways of the world, and the life that world held me to! Jesus told the pharisees that were talking about their life, when He said.." You say that you have a life, but without Me you have no life." But He is the way the truth, and the Life.

Okay, but you didn't answer my question.

You said you were a "Bond" Servant. Then you said you were set "Free". If you are Free, then how are you "Bond"?

1 Cor,7:22 For he that was called in the Lord being a bondservant, is the Lord’s freedman: likewise he that was called being free, is Christ’s bondservant.
23 Ye were bought with a price; become not bondservants of men.
