The devil knows our weak points

During one of our conferences, when we were having the seminar part , one of our pastors claimed the devil knows man's weak points. But I wonder how he really does.

He said, I'm not a fan of alcohol. I don't drink and I don't smoke, and the devil knows he'd never tempt me on those areas. He knows he wouldn't succeed.

He can tempt a man using such common tools as women and sex. Awkward? Well that sounds true.

He concluded by saying, and of course funnily, all you sisters never come to tempt me 'cause you'd succeed.

Satan knows us very well and he has been observing us for a very long time.He knows our weaknesses and he uses deception to confuse us. 1 Peter 5:8.

Is the temptation of the flesh?
Do we need the devil to get involved with the flesh?
Is the devil everywhere so he can tempt you, me, and everyone else all at once?
Indeed the devil or one of his agents may tempt us in a weakened state, but is it always the devil?
Do we not sin in the flesh and then look to blame it on someone?
"The devil made me do it".

Does the devil make me buy chocolate so I can get fat, have dental problems, develop diabetes, suffer, and then die?
Did the devil make me do it?

I sometimes wonder about all these things.
