Hi guys
I hope I’m not out of line here with this. I’ve written a book called 'A Proof of God' and two days ago fired it up on Kickstarter. I had no thought or intention to promote it on Christian websites but then my friend mischievously copied me unknowingly into a Facebook debate that was being run by a Richard Dawkin's fan club. After the abuse and mockery I suffered there the intention formed to do the very promotion I mention above.
I will be posting this on as many other Christian websites as I can and I hope you will allow it here and visit my project. I hope the video there doesn’t come across as being too harsh but I am extremely passionate on the subject and I was actually being very restrained. As I mention in the video, I am heartily sick and disgusted with the scientific brand of atheism allowed and promoted by the media these days and feel the need to fight back.
My book is a solid and original proof and I’ll go toe-to-toe with it against Dawkins anytime, anyplace on any medium. I hope I get the chance.
Thank you guys. There is a forum provided for this book, linked on my Kickstarter page. Please help get the book out there and we can all use it to fight the good fight. :)

Thanks Eugene. At least you didn't delete the entire post, like some other supposedly Christian forums have done (while being full of their own ads). Can't quite get my head around that, given the nature and purpose of my book. Dawkins is publishing his trash like so many hot rolls and there is so little out there to counter it.

My book can be found by googling the title at kickstarter, it's called A Proof Of God. I'm quite sure it's not going to make it, there is simply no honest way to get the traffic it needs. But it's worth a shot and I figured if it was really meant to be a higher power might intercede. :)
 
No I dont think God will waste His precious time and power trying to satisfy little clever mortal humans who want "proof" of his existence .If "faith" isnt good enough Heb 11:1 the witnessed sacrifice and resurrection of His only Begotten Son Lk 24:48 "You were witnesses of these things" to save us through His grace, what more proof does one need.I can safely say that no mortal will ever have the privilege to scientifically proof God's existence .If one cant "see the unseen" then they should take their prayers elsewhere.I have not seen your presentation so please forgive me if your reasoning concurs with what I've stated.

Welcome. I am all for wanting books sales. I think it best though since this is a community who speak and interact with each other to have at least posted awhile to get to know us before telling us about this book you wrote.

We care more about the person here, not what the person wrote.

Anyway, I hope your book does well.

Yes, I kind of did things back to front. I wrote the book without any thought as to how I was going to get it out there. Once it was up on kickstarter I began to realise the inherent problems in getting it noticed. Given the subject it was suggested to me to post it on as many Christian forums as I could find. Unfortunately most Christians seem to have missed the subject and thought it was just a book being spammed for money. Again, unfortunately, the money is needed to have it printed and shipped and pay for all the other costs involved in its writing (and future writing).
The best thing about it is it totally crushes Richard Dawkins' inane babble (The God Delusion) but it seems there is no public appetite for it. One lives and learns I guess.
 
Proof of God, I am new to this forum but have discussed this subject on other Christian Forums. I will look for your book. Belief in atheism is increasing at an accelerating rate. The trend toward secularism amd the denial of the supernatural began with the Enlightenment and now underpins Western thought. We are increasingly becoming a post- Christian society.

According to the 2010 Eurobarometer poll 40 percent of the population of France denies the existence of God, Spirit or any form of life force, the highest rate of atheism in Europe, while 27 percent said that they believe there is a God. In Sweden 34 percent did not believe in God, Spirit or a life force while 18 percent believed in God. Overall among Euro Member states 51 percent affirmed a belief in God, with the highest rate of theism in Malta at 94 percent. Quite extraordinary numbers for a continent long considered to be at the center of Christian belief. In the US Gallup, Pew Research and the General Social Survey have noted a dramatic rise in the number of people with no religious affiliation placing that number between 16-18 percent of the general population with close to quarter of the population between 18-29 in that category.

Naturalism, atheism and materialistic philosophy also underlie Western science. There is an implicit denial that we have a spiritual existence, and a denial of the supernatural. Early Christians believed that the supernatural interacted with the physical tangible everyday world of sense perception. A belief in the the supernatural is basic to orthodox Christianity - the Resurrection, heaven hell. the miracles in the New and Old Testament and the existence of Satan and his demons.

Tony Hyman, I do believe that God does at times reveals himself to people through miraculous intervention. The apostles' healings and other demonstrations of power were a witness to unbelievers after Jesus' death and ressurection. The miraculous still happens today. It happened to me. I was mired in atheistic philosophy.

I suspect the process is one created by the corporate powers that now control most, if not all, major world governments. It is in their interests to deny us a connection to the creator and have us believe it doesn't even exist. Dawkins is one of their most influential puppets. Books like mine are suppressed but that is mainly now a function of the public apathy created by the corporate agenda.
