was his first appearance;
he guest-starred until he got his own comic book

Now the movie is breaking records and making millions

The Black Panther (T'Challa) was the very first black super-hero in the comic books, followed by THE FALCON and LUKE CAGE at Marvel; and in the DC Universe, Jon Stewart replaced Hal Jordan as Green Lantern
