What is in your heart and who can know. Lets see what the scriptures say.

The heart is decitful above ALL things, and DESPERTLY wicked, who can know it.
Jeremiah 17:9

So we need a new heart to come to the Lord because our heart is wicked and evil.

Where can we get a new heart?
Again Jeremiah says in Jer. 24:7....And I will give them an heart to know me, That I am the LORD and they shall be my people, and I will be there God.

Ezekiel says A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stoney heart out of your flesh, and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you to walk in my statues.........Eze.36:26 and 27.l

We must be born again and given this new heart and spirit and no where does it say you have a choice and will ask for this. It says and I repeat again what the scriptures say THE HEART IS wicked and evil above ALL things. These are not my words.

Not all that call upon his name and do works in HIS name will be saved?
Read Matt. 7:21, 22 and 23. Not ALL that say LORD, LORD shall enter into the kingdom. Not all who propheied, not all who do many wonderfull works will enter in. Only those who do HIS will. Again this is not my words but the words of CHRIST himself

Romans 3 says there are NONE that seek after God, no not one. There are NONE that do good. Romans 3:11 and a quote from Plsm 14

Those who recieve him, he gave power to become sons of God, which were born, not of blood, NOR OF THE WILL of the flesh, nor of the WILL OF MAN, but of God. John 1:12 and 13. This is what the scriptures say. How then can you say it's your will?

John says in John 3 :27 A man can recieve nothing except it be given him from heaven. And Jesus himself said I recieve not honor from men, YE WILL NOT come to me that you may have life. John 6:40 and 41. The only way anyone will come to him is if he choose you, before he made, the world, died for you, and gives you his spirit. He did this..........NOT US .He paid the price for all his blood bought Children and he will NEVER fail.

Jesus came to do the will of the father. "And this is the father's will which sent me, that all which he hath given me I should lose nothing but should raise it up again at the last day".......... Words of CHRIST recorded in John 6:39.

If it is the fathers will that NONE of his choosen people perish NONE will.
If just one man rejected God and Jesus failed to save all his people because of mans will what a poor Saviour and God he would be. He would not be Saviour at all but a failure. MY GOD is the SOVERIGN GOD of all his creation ruling right now on his throne, and HE WILL NEVER fail. His name is JESUS CHRIST the LORD. Give HIM all the glory, honor, and praise due him and his Name, and NEVER trust in what you or any man does.

Those who recieve him, he gave power to become sons of God, which were born, not of blood, NOR OF THE WILL of the flesh, nor of the WILL OF MAN, but of God. John 1:12 and 13. This is what the scriptures say. How then can you say it's your will?

Correct! And further, a person can only receive Him "after" they have been given a new nature.

But the natural man, one who has not been born again, cannot "see" or perceive
the Kingdom of God (John 3:3); he is unable to discern spiritual things.

1 Corinthians. 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

So then, how is it accurate to the Word of God, for the natural man to boast of his freewill decision to accept Jesus Christ Who is spiritual? (1 Cor. 15:47)

The verses that do speak of men receiving something spiritual in nature, it means they had been made spiritual in preparation for receiving them (This is all God's action.) :

John 3:5-6
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 17:8
For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

John 10:27-28
My sheep hear my voice, (Prov. 20:12) and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

TGBTG!

Thanks Messenger and a good list of scriptures too...............Not a lot of people believe this but I see you do...........Pleased to meet you and I am always thankfull if I think I have met one of God's elect................This is such an honor and a privilage. But what does TGBTG mean? I don't know.
Any way ...........keep the faith as he allows us to do so. I belong to a small local church that remains faithfull to God as he does have a few here and there. Were sinners but God has been most Gracious to us in spite of our nature, by keeping faithfull men as head and wonderfull dedicated members who serve and believe in Jesus Christ only. We are not perfect, but we are God's elect, and thru his spirit we are Accepted by Our God.

O Lord our Lord, how execelent is thy name in all the earth..................Plsm 8:1 Good night!
