The Holy trinity. Symbolizes God's abilities?

Epitome

Member
I've been thinking a lot about the Holy trinity lately. And I just realized, that the Holy trinity doesn't just represent his 3 versions, but also his omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresense! For example: God the father represents his Omnipotence, God the Son or Jesus represents his Omniscience, and God the Holy spirit represents his Omnipresense. This is what I think, I'm not saying only Jesus is omniscient; or God the father is just Omnipotent, I'm saying they also represent his abilities.

The trinity is not 3 versions of God, that is not an accurate way to understand the trinity.

The Father is God. The Father is not the Son or the Holy Spirit.
The Son is God. The Son is not the Father or the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is God. The Holy Spirit is not the Father or the Son.
3 person in one God (not 3 gods). Each person in the trinity is fully God. They co-exist, are co-eternal and consubstantial.

God attributes of omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence is true for all 3 persons of the God head.

Yes, I know. There is one God. I just couldn't find the words to explain it, so I ended up putting the word version. I am just saying the trinity might symbolize his attributes (thanks for the word BTW).

For example, the writings of John contain much about Father, Son and Holy Spirit, especially chapters 13 to 17 of his Gospel, and his First Epistle; also the end of Matthew 28 and elsewhere.

I too have considered the trinity, 3 person's in one God-head. I have never thought about relating to the 3 O's. However, in doing a study of the soul in relationship to the spirit I found some interesting scripture in the old testament and this one in the new that really made me think.

Matthew 12:18

King James Version (KJV)

18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

So I see that God is talking about Jesus who is God come in the flesh/body. He also says He has a soul and a spirit. So at least when it comes to God there is a difference between His soul and His spirit.
1. I know that Jesus is God come in the flesh/body
2. I know that the Holy Spirit is God's spirit
3. By a process of elimination I deduce that the Father is God's soul - the mind, nature, etc.
Jesus said He only did/said what His Father told Him to. He also said that if we see Him we have seen the Father. To put on the mind of Christ is to put on the mind of the Father. Of coarse we can only do this to the point of what is revealed in scripture to us by the Holy Spirit.

I think what you meant to say was,
The Father is God. The Son and the Holy Spirit are from the Father
The Son is God. The Son and the Holy Spirit are from the Father
The Holy Spirit is God. The Holy Spirit and His Word/Jesus are from the Father

God the Father is a spirit John 4:24. Jesus is God in the Flesh, that's what we must believe in Romans 10:9 in order to be saved. God the Father, the Holy Spirit and Jesus are all the same being. In order to understand this you have to come to terms that God is a spirit first, God's spirit is Holy/the Holy Spirit is of God and from God. God of spirit then manifested himself into Flesh because he is omniscience, omnipotent and omnipresence. 1 Timothy 3:16

No! That is correct, but what I am saying is that you can picture omnipotence, with God the father and omniscience with Jesus. I AM SAYING THE TRINITY JUST NOT SHOWS GOD BUT MAYBE, HIS ATTRIBUTES???

Ok, well just to clear things up, everything in the Holy Trinity came from God the Father of Spirit. It all starts with him, being that God is forgiving of our sins he manifested himself into flesh. His name is Jesus. To know who God the Father is, a person must come through Jesus first. It's not that Jesus is omniscience, it's that God the Father AND Jesus are all of the above. They are both omniscience, omnipotent and omnipresent, simply because Jesus is God in the Flesh. John 8:58 - Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.
