The kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God

There have been a number of books written claiming that the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God are two different kingdoms. While well meaning, and sometimes well written, the premise of these books is false. These kingdoms are one and the same.

The Bible speaks of,

Angels of heaven (Matt.24:36) and Angels of God (Gen.28:12)

Stars of heaven (Gen.26:4) and Stars of God (Isa.14:13)

Host of heaven (I Ki.22:19) and Host of God (I Ch.12:22)

Things of heaven (Deut.33:13) and Things of God (I Cor.2:10)

Bread of heaven (Ps.105:40) and Bread of God (Jn.6:33)

Temple of heaven (Rev.16:17) and Temple of God (Rev.11:19)

Since these are obviously the same why would we think that kingdom of heaven and kingdom of God are different?

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Matt. 5:3 ESV)

Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. (Luke 6:20 ESV)
These are two accounts of the same event. The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven are definitely the same thing.

Ps 133:1 "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

Amen!

Is that Maori? What's it mean?

A good question, which I have no definitive answer for, but have pondered. We do know that sin is not allowed in heaven, and yet Satan went before the throne to ask permission to afflict Job and so forth. So is that contradictory? Perhaps not. We are also told that no one enters into heaven until the great day, etc., and yet Paul and others give testimony of being there, a place that is referred to as the third heaven.

Maybe...just maybe, all is true. Being able to be so by dominion. Satan does not get into heaven. no man has been there yet, and there is no contradiction either. It's God's office? Where He operates from? It is in His kingdom by dominion and yet perhaps not His permanent residence, even though He dwells there for certain periods of time. Like being at work. Men can go there and get to see demos, Satan or others can make a visit for whatever purpose, but I don't think it's His private home.

Like scripture speaks of Kingdoms. the kingdom is big and business can be conducted without people going to the kings private residence. Along those lines is my best conjecture.

We are his Kingdom and it is within us also because we are servants of the Most High and are representitives of the same and have his Spirit within us. :)

See?

This video starts at the end of another song. "Hine ma tov" starts at about 0:30. It has both lyrics and an English translation.

I have that on cd. tis his shalom Jerusalem. a good video to teach what shalom means. the context of it is what the video is about.

Paul Wilbur is awesome.

I double, triple that affirmation!

I learned this bit from Wilbur as well:

Baruch Shem K'vod Malchuto L'Olam Va'Ed! = Blessed be His Glorious Name, whose Kingdom is Forever and Ever!

Where is that video from? I just purchased on DVD Paul Wilbur's Jerusalem Arise, which is similar in performance to the clip you showed, but is not from that DVD.
