There have been a number of books written claiming that the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God are two different kingdoms. While well meaning, and sometimes well written, the premise of these books is false. These kingdoms are one and the same.
The Bible speaks of,
Angels of heaven (Matt.24:36) and Angels of God (Gen.28:12)
Stars of heaven (Gen.26:4) and Stars of God (Isa.14:13)
Host of heaven (I Ki.22:19) and Host of God (I Ch.12:22)
Things of heaven (Deut.33:13) and Things of God (I Cor.2:10)
Bread of heaven (Ps.105:40) and Bread of God (Jn.6:33)
Temple of heaven (Rev.16:17) and Temple of God (Rev.11:19)
Since these are obviously the same why would we think that kingdom of heaven and kingdom of God are different?
