The Land Promises to Israel were Completed Long, Long Ago.

Are you serious? You think the offspring of Abraham NEVER EVER lived in and owned Palestine? Really?
I don't bother with stupid questions.

And you think this never happened?
Since the Bible says so, of course. Abraham certainly walked on the land, that god promised to give him as an everlasting possession, but Abraham has yet to have it as an everlasting possession.

There were conditions. Jesus is not coming to restore ancient Israel, Or do you think this is the goal?
Ancient Israel and Israelis are dead. The OT saints will be resurrected with the NT saints at the Lord's return, but they will rule over all the nations with Him.

It's only the continued natural seed that will receive with resurrected Abraham the whole land promised to him. Ezekiel shows it is greater than the land of ancient Israel.

The tribal division is lost. Records were destroyed. Most Jews today are not descendants of Abraham anyway.
So says your history. God's promises are always kept by Himself.

He says Abraham and his natural seed will receive the land promised to Him and his natural seed. And so He will raise Abraham from the dead and have natural seed on earth, so as to give the land promised to him and his natural seed.

Is any thing too hard for the LORD?

What land do you think David ruled?
From the river of Egypt into Syria, with gaps.

God's prophesied land in Ezekiel for Abraham and his natural seed, will be greater and without gaps.

The land of the tribes will also be more equally divided.

The OT land of Israel is obviously not the one still prophesied. Nor did Abraham ever receive it.
Like those who ignore most of the OT and say Israel never possessed the land promised?
Possessed a land promised to them at the time, but not all.

God reproved them for not conquering all that land He promised to give them from the wilderness.

Ah, the pharisees believed the same.
Most all Jews believed it, who believe Bible prophecy, and still do today.

Just many of them don't believe it the way God will fulfill it.\ to resurrected Abraham and his natural seed, after the Lord Jesus' return in the air.

Many Jews will be among the armies of the last great false christ, who came in his own name, and they gladly recieved.

I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

But not all the natural seed of Abraham will be wiped out by great plagues, warfare, and judgment of nations as goats.

But it’s difficult to believe someone can read the OT and decide Israel never received the promised land.
That's only because it's difficult for you to change your own precious prophecy.

Pride.

A bloody terrible end, right?
For those killed in the plagues? Yes. For those slaughtered around Judea Armageddon? Yes. For those judged goats among nations? Yes.

For those still alive on earth and judged sheep? No.

Unless any of them later forsake the King's rule, and trespass against His law, and are speedily executed...

Hi Shilohsfoal
Jesus seems to believe that land belongs to him.
Well, if we believe the Scriptures, the whole earth belongs to the Lord. We're all just tenants living on loan. However, in God's revelation to us HE SAYS that He is giving a certain geographical part of the earth's surface to the people of Isreal. Yes, that promise was completed in the days of Joshua as the Israelites began to subdue the land and remove the people that God commanded them to remove.

However, there is no indication that God has ever taken that land from them permanently. He has said that He was going to drive them out of the land as a consequence of their sin, but He also says that His anger will not burn against them forever and that He will bring them back. I believe that was God's work in working out that promise in the restoration of the nation of Israel in 1948. God has/is working to restore Israel to their land.

God bless,
Ted

From my understanding the promises were made to Abraham and his seed which is Christ.

Abraham was never given the land and Christ has not received it yet either.

Galatians 3:16
The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ.

If Benjamin netanyahu is not Christ or is not in Christ ,then the land was never promised to him ,nor is it promised to anyone that is not in Christ .Past, present or future.
