Cleansing the Flesh from Sins​

Chastisement is a form of correction; it is an affliction of love to clean the individual from sins. Chastisement affects the person's lifestyle from sin.

To refine an individual to do good.

We read in Malachi 3:1-3 “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," Says the Lord of hosts. "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? He is like a refiner's fire And a launderer's soap.
He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer the Lord An offering in righteousness.

Jeremiah 9:7 Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: "Behold, I will refine them and try them; For how shall I deal with the daughter of My people?

In words like gold or silver, the person is tried by fire to refine the individual from sins.

Note: Here in these verses, Christ said that in an appointed time in the individual life, He will begin to refine and purify the person through trials, and by Chastisement in the personal life, this call trial by fire. The fire is the Holy Spirit.

We read in 1 Peter 1:7 (NLT) These trials will show your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise, glory, and honor on the day Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

Jehovah God is so brilliant with light, that no sin or man can get near or see him, that death is instant. So, as we see in our sinful nature we cannot come to God in any form, no flesh can please God, neither our works nor deeds or sacrifices, nothing at all can please God. We are so lost in our condition, that we might think our good will outweigh our bad deeds, but one thing we must not forget; we still have a sinful nature. We need something awesome to redeem us from our sinful nature; something must change in our lives. So, what is the answer, our solution? What can God do to change our nature, he is so brilliant with light, and nothing is unapproachable to him, instant death. God is going to do something to make us righteous and pure, to make us his sons and daughters, and may reign with him forever and ever. He gives us a new birth; in this birth, he gives us a new heart and a right spirit within that we will walk in his statues and commandments. He saves us from grace, he gives us something we do not deserve, and by grace, we are saved. In his grace as a child, he begins to discipline us, punish the wicked, and bring us back, but still, our sins must be Justify for, the wage of sin is death. God plans to send a substitute, one person to take the penalty for all sins, for all mankind, for all ages. Jesus Christ stands for our sins as the substitute. He put all our guilt, all our shame, burdens, and sins on him. All we have done from birth to adulthood, is every miserable, dirty, rotten sin of Jesus Christ, starting from Adam.

Jesus refines us as we go through trials and agree with His Spirit for godly character, or Christs' likeness. It sometimes seems like theology speaks of being conformed to the image of Christ as a future event.

Like how when the Messiah comes, swords are turned into crop tools. That's what happened to the Apostles and many others (before and) after them.

It's much harder to conquer someone by love than by hate, but this is why the King shares the spoils of His victory with the strong.

The weak are the strong. I think is a good example of what the Bible means when it says God doesn't see things the way people do.

This is what the Lord is doing for those who are submitting to Him.

Cleansing is a process and a mutual harmony between the One doing the cleansing and the one being cleansed.

This is why deliverance is so popular now!!!


But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

Repentance and the renouncing of sin, unforgiveness, ungodly soul ties as we as generational curses (iniquities) is what the Spirit is focusing on in this s season.


Those who are resisting are being exposed.
