He's just protecting his daughter. Probably his ideas are more effective at protecting her than this kind of bull****:Confused father. (I thank God i didn't have girls)

Ya....I know what you meanNow please tell me you take a shower more than once a month :neutral
Maybe your daughter will have a different taste in men than you have?lol. its a mime. claudya, I do feel that way about jaci. I can say these. if she comes to me shows me a boy, and says im in love. I will make sure he is worthy. I have been there myself. my fil would have told my wife if he thought I was useless.

When I was a kid showering everyday was uncommon. My parents made me wash myself thoroughly twice a day, with soap of course, and take one or two baths a week. Washing yourself twice a day is actually enough to keep you tidy. And it saves a lot of water. But that's hard to imagine now. Showering is so convenient.Absolutely. I'm not sure how people can not shower everyday. Whether you work or not, lol.
My parents grew up in the times when you got a bath in a wash tub once a week with 7 or 8 other kids sharing the wash tub.My dad said it was a treat to be the first one in the fresh water because they did not throw out the water. When I was a kid showering everyday was uncommon. Well that was definitely very environmentally conscious of them. They saved a lot of water. Very sustainable way to clean oneself. My parents grew up in the times when you got a bath in a wash tub once a week with 7 or 8 other kids sharing the wash tub.My dad said it was a treat to be the first one in the fresh water because they did not throw out the water.
They were both very poor with a bunch of kids in the family.Well that was definitely very environmentally conscious of them. They saved a lot of water. Very sustainable way to clean oneself.
Ewww.
Count your Blessings that you can whenever you wantThat story totally makes me want to take a shower.
okay, you missed that. totally. my fil met my wifes two exes. he warned my wife not to marry, steve, the man who did rape a girl whom I met. he also tried to do the same with my wifes daughters. my fil also warned her of her first husband, he wasn't a physical abuser but didn't like to work, he is deceased , he died in 06.Maybe your daughter will have a different taste in men than you have?
And her own mistakes will teach her way more than you warning her whether you think he's useless.

this wasn't just from one meeting. her dad has his faults but he is one who has lived the world and is a retired firefighter, and also a navy war vet. I think he does know characters. this maybe a foreign concept to you but parents, they have lived on the earth longer then us. they might see something we wouldn't. love is blind.
Aye, it's really a blessing. Clean water may not be as easily available as it is now in the future because of climate change and the increasing world population.Count your Blessings that you can whenever you want![]()
You see some bathing in the filthy waters of the rivers like in india. :ermAye, it's really a blessing. Clean water may not be as easily available as it is now in the future because of climate change and the increasing world population.
In some parts of the world clean fresh water is a hard to get by commodity even now. I can get into my shower any time and have a warm or cold shower, and even drink the water that comes out of my shower because it's perfect tap water (tap water regulations are super strict here). Only thing I have to worry about is my water bill.
Other people have to worry about even getting enough water, or enough clean water, to drink their body's daily need.
We are darn lucky.

I do not think they have any other options. They are probably glad to have that.Yeah the Ganges river in India is really disgusting. It's hard to grasp why people undertake so little effort to keep something that is sacred to them clean. Maybe they just don't have any other source of water so they have no choice but to abuse the river.
who said that? I didn't.Sorry your wife's been so out of luck with her men. But kids still need to make their own mistakes. They will never grow into adults otherwise.
but if they ask my opinion. better be strong if one is going to be stupid
