im not that up on this. there might be a relation. probably since emf using a lepton to generate it. solar power uses light to make power. a photon hits a photocell an power produced.
That was Eintein's discovery. The photoelectric effect was actually why he got a Nobel prize. At the time, relativity was too weird for a lot of people, and by the time everyone realized he had it right, it was really too late to give him another Nobel. Not that he cared.
Did you know that a single photon, fired at a pair of slits will produce an interference pattern as though it were actually a wave, rather than a particle? No one really has figured out why light looks like particles sometimes, and like waves other times.
