There is NO TRUTH to that post! (if it say's otherwise) None! It proves only that these persons have a 'g'od set up over Christ! (even in John 10:16 + Rev. 18:4 you will find that the post is in the wrong camp)

The fruit of the Spirit is how you identify people who ARE filled with the Holy Spirit. I don't remember you referring to the fruit of the Spirit in your post. I could have missed it.

Actually the laugh is on you.

I couldn't decipher the ambiguity in your post and just went with one possible meaning. That ambiguity being, as you say, the evidence of the absence of the Spirit in your life.

Didn't want to openly mock you about it, and figured you probably would step in your own trap in this thread anyway.

Having the Holy Spirit means many things, and in the case of this thread and what you're doing it means not being conceited and provoking other people:

"25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other." (Galatians 5:25-26 NIV)

It's not very loving to provoke other people. That's not fruit that is in keeping with the calling one receives in Christ Jesus. That's bad fruit. It's important that you strive to show yourself to be a good tree. That way if you find that you are not, you can do what you have to do to become a good tree that bears good fruit; one that will not be cut down and thrown into the fire.

Surely Acts 5:32's INSPIRED verse documents who only does indeed have the Holy Spirit. Read it SLOWLY, it is short!

[32] And we are his witnesses of these things; and [so is also the Holy Ghost,] [[[whom God hath given to them that obey him.]]]

AND??? 2 Peter 1:20-21 has the Holy Spirit INSPIRE it this way...
[20] Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
[21] For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

PS: Is that NOT CLEAR?? In other Words, if anyone DOES NOT OBEY GOD'S 'INSPIRED' WORD, they are [[WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT!]]

Is this not clear to you?

"9 For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; 11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you." (1 Peter 1:9-11 NASB)

Do you have eyes to see? It's a plain black and white passage about how we can know if we have the Spirit of salvation within us and can expect a grand entrance into the kingdom of God.

The Bible plainly tells us that we can know if we have been truly called and chosen, and can expect to be saved on the day of wrath, by whether or not we have the qualities of the Spirit. The qualities of the Spirit Peter just listed in the passage. Do you understand? It's very simple. Is it too simple to be seen? Or is it just too simple and not complex enough to be true?

I don't know what else to say to someone who thinks Jesus' and Peter's words about how to know one has the Spirit of God is not the reliable way to know who belongs to God, and is saved, and who does not.

The person who has the qualities of the Spirit within him is the one who can be sure of his calling and election, and the presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit, who is our guarantee of that salvation.

And then Christ has said that 'YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN'!

Not to great on math, but spiritual simple math has obedience to God being the required starting place of Salvation! NO 'i' give up Lord? has NO Born Again life given!

My name is jman...so no! I'm not female. And instead of being rude and harsh could you please try some manners? And your title about knowing when one is filled with the holy spirit already seems wrong by what you started with the list. If anyone misunderstands anything said to them means they are not filled with the holy spirit, you are wrong....I believe being filled with the holy spirit is different than that.


Now, please try to talk to me in a polite manner, we are here to represent ourselves as Christians and the way you have addressed me is already a bit harsh.

Yes, I do believe you think being filled with The Holy Spirit is what you want it to be.

Now, will you please read the English words here before you without compulsively trying to "read in between the lines?" Representing Christ does not mean being hypersensitive and getting off track in a discussion about "how things seem."

Have you not clearly understood anything which I said in my original or following posts? Have you prayed about what I have posted before getting upset and offended? Have you forgiven me any offense such that you have hardly noticed it, like Jesus forgives?
