All Christians should read this, all of this, skipping nothing. The Hadith is another one that you should know about, this is also a must read post, to help you know what Islam is about. I myself have a Quran and a Hadith for study.

The Hadith.

This is another sacred book of Islam which Muslims claim is inspired. It's supposed to tell you what to do to get paradise and sundry other stuff. You must EARN Allah's forgiveness by following a bunch of rules and rituals. This stuff is indefensible:

* One of the major sins is not to protect oneself from urine. If you pee on yourself you go to hell, yet Muhammad ordered people to drink camel's milk and urine!
* You must not face Mecca when you are defecating. You must not use your right hand to hold or wipe yourself. You must wash your private parts after going to the bathroom.
* Satan stays in the upper part of the nose all night (vol. 4, no. 516)
* Muhammad would spit so followers could smear it on their faces.
* Bad breath, having gas, and yawning are sins when done in Muhammad's presence--I don't think Allah was offended, I think it was Muhammad.
* Muhammad was superstitious and was afraid that evil spirits might enter his body while urinating or defecating. He was also afraid of a strong wind, and kissed and adored black stone in the Kabah. Muhammad thought that placing a green palm leaf on grave of the dead would lesson their pain as they died, and said clean your private parts with an odd number of stones. Believed that Jews were transformed into rats (vol. 4, nos. 524, 569 and chap. 32) and magic.
* Muhammad supposedly had the sexual strength of 30 men.
* There are no recorded miracles of Muhammad in the Quran but when followers saw Muhammad's inferiority to Jesus they started making some up in the Hadith: Muhammad cut the moon in half with a sword, a palm tree cried like a baby because Muhammad wouldn't preach under it, Muhammad made water flow out of his fingernails so that people could drink--the Hadith contradicts itself on how many supposedly people drank it. These "miracles" go on and on.
* Islam is to be primarily spread through the sword (but then again, how else can you get people to believe these fairy tales?). The best deed is to believe in Allah and his Apostle. The next best thing is to participate in Jihad which is religious FIGHTING (vol. 1, no. 25). Murderous Muslims could take the property of people they killed during a Jihad.
* Anyone who leaves Islam must be killed (vol. 4, no. 260).
* Christians and Jews that don't embrace Islam go to hell.
* Women are deficient in intelligence and religion.
* Majority of people in hell are women (vol. 1, nos. 28, 301; vol. 2, no. 161)
* Child looks like the parent that had "discharge first" during intercourse.
* Stars created by Allah to throw at devils as missles.
* Spirits eat dung and bones.

One thinh though Islam is false, and Jesus and the Holy Bible is not, and the Bible proves itself over and over. I have a Quran and the book is pure garbage.
Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
GAL 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Lets say you find an 'imperfection' in the Quran, and a Muslim argues, "its not an imperfection, because the Quran is perfect, is says so itself."

That would be a silly argument right? And yet some Christians will say basically the same kind of thing to defend the Bible.

That would be a silly argument right? And yet some Christians will say basically the same kind of thing to defend the Bible.

The question is who and what do you believe?

A person can reject both books but he or she cannot believe both books for they contradict each other.

After examining this issue I choose to believe that the bible is God's word. :D
 
In the Quran Sura 2:136 Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to Allah (in Islam)."

Now that is a contradiction, because they don't. I posted this below in another thread, just read some of the contradictions below, and this is just a little bit. It is from my study notes on Islam.

Muhhamed was a lunatic, and that cannot, be denied. And he did steal his adopted son's wife. Making up a convenient revelation to get her. That cannot be denied ether. Quran is a confused book. It has Moses and Haman building the Kabah together, when they lived at different times. And how about Abraham being delivered from Nimrods fire, when they lived at different times. And how about the story in Sura 2: 102. about God lifting up Mt Sinai over the heads of the Jews threat to crush them if they rejected the law. That came from the Jewish book Abadah, Sarah, but he put it in the Quran. And the story in Sura 7:148 ;20:88 about the golden calf jumping out the fire fully formed and mooing. And there is much, much, much more of this crap.
Muhhamed got mostly all his stories from these books. The Jewish Tulmud, the Midrash, The second targum of Esther, and other pre Islamic works like.
Pirke-Rabbi Eleazer the Targum of Jonathan ben Uzziah and the Targum of Jerusalem. And this why most of his stories does not line up with the Bible.
Oh yeah and what about the storie of Alexander the great, being a muslim who is called Zul-qarnain, and that he lived to an old age. When I know that he only lived to be 33. And that story is in Sura 18: 89-98. And I got much more, from the study I did on Islam almost 10 years ago. This is just a little bit of stuff.

Because the Quran has to go by the standard of the Bible. Muhammed always was saying if you don't believe me, go to the Bible. But yet the Quran does not measure up to the Bible. If we serve the same God why don't the Quran agree and backup the entire Bible instead of contradicting the Bible ?

The Quran has to match up to the Bible and it does not yet Muhammed always was saying if you don't believe me go to the Bible. The Bible was completed hundreads of years before the Quran. So the Bible has to verify the Quran and it does not, because the Quran contradicts the Bible.

Ok just because you own a Quran doesnt make you some kind of expert on it. Why dont you do yourself a favor and actually read it,
 
Then read the book with an open mind, open yourself to possibilites, and judge between what God has revealed
 
Well most of what you said about the Quran is not true for example muslims are unsure who the great warrior Zul-qarnain is and I would definatly say that it isnt Alexander the Great. He was a a polytheist and a homosexual. Another thing I should point out the Quran did not borrow stories. it was revealed to Muhammud who was illitrate which he then recited to his companions which was then memorized. Also you say that the Quran has missing manuscirpts but the Bible was not put together till 300+ years after Christ and on top of that the Gospels were hand picked my council members which left out a number of Gospels out of the Bible. Also the Quran has no contradictions
 
Oh you all know who Zul-qarnain is. That was the Muslims name for Alexander The Great who died at 33, he was a chronic alcoholic, but youa say that he lived to a ripe old age, how wrong you are, well the Quran is
 
Ok first of all Zulqarnain is not the arabic name for Alexander the Great it is translated as "one with two horns". Alexander the Great we all know was a homosexual therefore he finds not place in the Quran. Also Alexander does not fit the criteria for Zulqarnain because it was said that he trapped the tribes of
Gog and Magog.
 
Ok ive read ur thread on the quran and I just have to say that the Quran is pure and truly the word of God and ur accusations agiasnt it are either wrong or twisted. If I were to compare the reliabilty of the current Bible and the Quran I would chose the texts that has not been manipulated by men. Stories in the Quran are the truth.

You can't tell a blind person what the color of blue is. They can't see it. Most Muslims are blind and do not know what the color of truth is. They just cannot see it.

They will be judged for their unbelief, and their works of evil.
 
Solo...correct me if I'm wrong, but are you suggesting that being Muslim pretty much automatically makes you someone who is blind and does evil works?

Just curious...
