What are you advocating for here, justification by works, or simply continued righteous works as evidence of sanctification, or maybe something else?

How are you understanding the word "good" (or "well doing" in the KJV) in v. 7? The practice of the principle of surrender, or evil works verses righteous works? In other words, are we good or doing good because we only said two white lies this month verse the 5 we told last month, or are we good because we have surrendered, by faith, all of our sins, failures and weaknesses to Him who said : 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls (Matthew 11:28-29)?

P.Z. is correct in pointing out the problem of formulating doctrine outside of the context of all relevant Scripture (Matthew 4:4). For example, concerning the topic of justification by faith or works:

Joh 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Joh 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Notice the shift from plural, works, to singular, work. (yes, this is present in the Greek). Now why does Jesus shift this conversation concerning works from plural to singular, as if our main or priority concern should be "that ye believe on him whom he hath sent"?

How are you interpreting "deeds" in v. 6? Is Paul including all deeds (righteous and unrighteous) committed by a person in his/her life, or only those deeds that God "remembers"? In the judgment of Rom 2:5, will God Almighty consider/regard only righteous works for those who are justified in Christ and only unrighteous works of those who die in their sins? In addition to John 6:28-29 and Romans, there are many relevant verses that must be taken into consideration concerning the topic of faith, works and judgment. For example:

Eze 18:30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. (What ways is God referring to here? Well, the next to verses seem to answer that question.)

Eze 18:21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
Eze 18:22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

Eze 18:24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
