Take the common household fly, created by Jesus when everything was perfect. There was no death, and no decay. So why did he invent the fly if it could only lay maggots in a fallen world?

Because God already knew what a terrible
Mess we would make of things.
Human's didn't start reproducing until after sin,. As you say, there was no death so flies didn't need to lay maggots.
We are not told though when flies were created. Could be not until they were needed.

I thought all living thing's on earth were created by Jesus in 6 day's (And he rested on the 7th) That was all before the fall, death and decay.

How long do fly's live for anyway? Could they have survived in that time frame between perfection & corruption?

Everything that God created in the beginning, even a fly, has it's purpose within this vast universe. Flies are an important link in the food chain for birds, spiders and other insects. God has a food source for every living thing.

All we know is that everything He created was pronounced as good so we don’t know what a fly was before sin entered the world. Animals did not kill and eat each other before the fall. so the extent sin has altered all things we cannot begin to understand.

Hi, YumChow! Just a thought... what we see today is the FALLEN state of creation. We have no idea what the fly's original purpose really is or what the skunk used to smell like. But I'm positive we will all be pleasantly surprised when Messiah returns and restores everything back the way it was intended to be from the beginning!

Its wrong to say God created everything, sin also created things and the devil brought evil and problems into existence. Its good to say that if God did create the fly, it would have been purified, and not as it is today, causing problems.
