The power of God is vast and enormous, with a single flick of a finger he could send the biggest planet soaring endlessly into the vast dark universe. His voice thunders and shakes the very foundations of heaven, putting all creatures in all of existence into fear and terror and trembling. How easily he can smite all things with wrath and fearful power that no creature or being could ever even try to stand against.
Truly he is one to fear truly if there was something to tremble and shake by mere thought of him it would be God.
But oh the wonder of God, how such an all powerful and awe inspiring and fearful creator loves us. His love for us is as his power and might, that very power that puts fear and trembling into his enemies hearts is likened to the love he has for us as they are both very vast very powerful and extremely amazing.
Many do not know the wonder of God, though they seek it even the closest to God don't even get a glimpse of how deep and how amazing he is. Man kind has fallen countless times, they continue to every day.. Yet he stands by our side and offers his help and love despite our failings and filthiness, he sees something in the creatures he created that makes him seek that every one be saved. the most vile, evil cruel blood thirsty human is worth saving to him. what does he see beyond all that darkness? what lies in the soul of man that seeks to save and love even with such a black and hardened heart?
It is one of my hearts deepest desires to see what it is he sees, there is something beautiful in the soul of the darkest and cruelest person that he sees and is after. when others are quick to give up are quick to despise and hate yet he so desperately wants to hold in his arms and shower with love. I don't know how I don't know when but I will see with those eyes one day and I will love with that heart of his, It doesnt matter what the cost is or how far God and I have to go,nor is it for my benefit.
What does it mean to be strong? I ask this to myself everyday, and the answer is always the same. when I think of what it means to be strong I always see Him the god of the universe, that love that kindness how far he is willing to go every aspect of himself.
