Recent events inside Afghanistan that have unfolded since may 27th , 2010 after an a documentary, Sarzameen Man, showing videos of secret Afghan Christian converts, aired on the Noorin TV, An independent tv station, based in Kabul, aired on national tv, in Afghanistan.
This sparked riots and demonstrations through out Afghanistan.
Demonstrators called on the Afghan government to execute these Christians under Sharia law.
Abdul Sattar Khawasi deputy secetary of the lower house in parliament, also called for the public execution of these Christians, backed by the parliament, Senate, religious Council, and Islamic partys and leaders.
Mr Mujajdi the chairmen of the Afghan senate , if the Afghan government does no t exucute these christains, he and other leaders will call on the people to execute them. Qazi Nazir Ahmad, a law maker from Haret, declared killing these Christians who have converted from Islam, is not a crime.
Christians are considered pagans, infidels and criminals.
13 Christian NGO,s and organisations have now been stopped
Waheed Omar , the spokesmen for President Hamid Karzai, said the President had ordered his interior minister and the head of the countries spy agency ,Also the Attorney General and the NDS intelligence agency to take immediate and serious action to prevent this phenomenon.
Many arrests have followed, and torture of those arrested, to forcibly extract the names of other Afghan Christians.
And the locations of under ground fellowships through out the country.
Some Christians have managed to flee the country, while thousands remain trapped,
And ask for our prayers, and their voices to be heard, the violations of their human rights, by their own government.
