First, Paul echoes the story of Moses coming down the mountain with the Torah. The trumpet sounds, a loud voice is heard, and after a long wait Moses comes to see what’s been going on in his absence.

For me, this is a more likely scenario and gives us a clue as to aprox. when Jesus will return too.

In order for the rapture to be true christ has to come twice more,which of course He does not.

In the book of Matthew chapter 24 Christ tell us everything that must take place before His return,can any rapturist show me anywhere in that chapter that He speaks of a rapture?

Now Ive heard the argument that this chapter is referring to His second coming and that the rapture happens before this time.

So my question to that would be if we are to be raptured before the second coming,why did He need to warn us of the things that would happen before this time if we were not going to be here?
