what about the body how long is it dead?
It does not matter how long a person has been dead or whether there body is whole in pieces or ashes as at the resurrection we will have new resurrection bodies.
Paul uses the illustration of a seed being buried and our resurrection body being as different from our earthly body as a p.ant is different from its seed.
1Cor 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Cor 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
