...abortion isn't named in the bible as a sin. if so show me where that is by name...

It kind of feels like maybe you are more looking for an argument here, rather than discussing ways to witness to the unsaved who have different ideas than we do?

One thing I've already clearly said above is that if something is a sin God will have told us so in his word either directly or in principle. Do you agree with this? Or do you believe that we as Christians are given the authority to decide for God what is sin? The comparison to abortion has no place here since there is clear scripture telling us that murder is sin. A person can argue over when a fetus becomes a person thereby making killing "it" a sin of murder, but I don't think that's the topic here.

that doesn't mean we should do it...

Of course it doesn't. I thought that was made clear by Paul's words which I already quoted above.

you cant argue with them from the idea that its not a sin. you could say show me how you justify caffeine as a sin.

If you look deeply into the most recent historical research, you will find the evidence stacks up in Joseph Smith's favor, in that he never committed adultery and that he was not married for time to anyone who was also married to someone else.

If you consider Joseph Smith as someone who built a religion to justify his lusts for sex, money and power, you would easily find the fruits of such in his modern followers. Remember that Jesus only taught one test for true vs false prophets. You will know them by their fruits. What are the fruits coming from the tree today that Joseph Smith planted? Do they match up with the caricature you have believed?
