The Third Annual God Bless America Party Thread (PLEASE READ IMPORTANT MESSAGE INSIDE)

Hey guys, I can already guess what you're thinking. What's the point in having an Independence Day celebration when we really don't have our independence in America today? Well, at least we still have our freedom to feel the way we do and voice our opinion. To be honest right now I do believe that now is the time to show our patriotism more than ever because of the fact that many lives were still laid down for our country.





Just because there most likely won't be any fireworks this year in local places (Macy's is still scheduled to have their firework show) and life isn't perfect doesn't mean that we shouldn't love and support our country. I still believe that in these troublesome times that God is testing us and now is the time where we need Him to bless America most of all.







"So dear Lord, bless our country and all of the families who had loved ones make the ultimate sacrifice so that we could be free. Although racism and the Coronavirus exists in the world today, so does equality and your love in both physical and emotional healing if we ask for it, and the ability to hopefully find a cure for such a horrible disease. Instead of division let us spread unity and acceptance as well as forgiveness and eliminate hatred. For as it states in The Pledge of Allegiance we are ONE nation under God, indivisible with liberty, and justice for all! So let us help get justice for the family of George Floyd and let freedom ring."

Actually I want about 4 bones of some of my 6hr ribs...a spoon of some home made tater salad and a little bit of that jello salad. (So I can have something green on my plate)

We just had Pentacost 3 weeks ago, the birth of Christianity.
No celebration, nobody showed up.
I guess worldly America is more popular than God and his people.
How sad is that?

Hehe, mind sharing some of that? :wink Oh btw, here's a flashback to my early childhood. I was just singing this and I still know all of the words. The feels are real. :') (Looks like I was a baby when it actually came out.)

Oh and here, checkout this awesome version of The Battle Hymn of The Republic as it's my favorite.

Sad, but since America is (supposed to be) a Christian nation patriotism and Christianity (should) go hand in hand.

My independence and allegiance is to the Lord alone as no one can take that from me.
I will celebrate life in Christ this 4th of July and now if JohnDB will share those yummy ribs with us and some of that sweeten tea that's all I need.
