Mathew 27:51,52 "And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. 51Then behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom;-----"
I always thought the meaning of the veil being torn was to show that through Jesus our High Priest, we now have access to the Most Holy Place. Before, only the priest of Israel, and then only once a year, was allowed in to offer the sin offering for the people. One reason for my interpreting it in this way is Hebrews 10: 19-22, but I never did a full exegesis on it. In another thread a different interpretation came up and it got me curious.
I would like to hear the thoughts and studies of others.
