If I come to Christ as a newcomer under this view, I would believe there is no such thing as a “biblical Antichrist†in your own words.

I think you misinterpret just a bit.
No one is claiming there is no such thing as a biblical antichrist.

What we are saying is that the antichrist of the Bible has nothing to do with any supposed 21st century world ruler.

So if such a leader was to arise out of ten nations and he matched every single criteria that describes the Antichrist in the bible (I believe there are 46)

In FACT, antichrist is mentioned only 4 times in scripture.
1 John 2:18, 22, 4:3 & 2 John 1:7.
Thats it.

And NONE of those instances refer to a 21st century world ruler.
Not even one.

[quote:2u4ap073] I suspect we will be seeing Putin asking Russia to Unite with the Islamic nations to go to war against Israel very soon or at least in this lifetime.

When you say "soon" do you mean the same thing as Jesus and the apostles meant by "Soon" or do you have a different meaning for the word?[/quote:2u4ap073]

I think we double posted but I answered some of these questions above. parousia am I to take it you are of the preterist position.

I must tell you that I truly believe god put me in this thread for a reason. I am moving ahead very strongly with my ministry speaking to churchs, bloging, articles etc.. So as I understand it I am speaking the futurist position. I thought everyone was a futurist?

Now I knew that I would be met with resistance from Nonbelievers and many Christians who just will not discuss prophecy in their churches. But I must confess I knew nothing of this preterist position until the past few days. I really believe god is telling me that I need to educate myself and be prepared to debate this view. This also means I will have to hit the scriptures at bit more and study the view despite so far I believe it to be harmful to our faith as stated above. I have been in many rath and trib arguments but my goodness this preterist position just seems off the wall to me.

All Christians are preterist. we only vary by degree.

I thought everyone was a futurist?

Nope.

But I must confess I knew nothing of this preterist position until the past few days.

Then God must have put me here help introduce you to this view!

I really believe god is tell me that I need to educate myself and be prepared to debate this view.
