Yep, humans got here when various ancient mammals like dire wolves, short-faced bears, giant sloths, and so on, still lived. There is some evidence to indicate we might have been the cause of those extinctions.

another article. there hasn't been any of those found in my county. i will post the update when i read it first and i don't think i can as this newsource is pay as you go or subscription for reading it. unless inside vero has a copy of the same article.

no, I am a yecer, I am just reporting what they are doing in my hometown. I may volunteer to assist with the dig. they are digging again. I also work for the city and this area is on one of my routes. so when they dug last year I did try to talk to them. alas when I saw them, they were closing up shop. last week they started prepping the site. the temp power pole was left up, no power there yet, two porta-johns put in place and the land was cleared again.
