The Worst Version of Windows

Nope, it did not do that nor did I believe it would. There is a program in Linux for that but you must also sort through the thousands of files it recovers, one by one to find it. 8 and 8.1 are just evil and now MikcrSoft has dropped 9 and moved onto 10.
I have come to understand that the naming of the new versions of their OS are basically meaningless, as this is actually not the 10th version of Windows, but something quite different. They should get away from naming each OS with a number and go back to some unique name.

Ummmmm! Now brother, you go to far because you're asking for honesty. If they did that they would need to do one of two things.
1. Stop suing the Freeware systems and begin using the Unix/Linux kernels or
2. Rewrite their kernel and close the Dos Back Door and dump all that, better than, 20 year old trash they have accumulated in the present MS kernel.

maybe windows 95, because microsoft had to remake it several times (remember windows 96 and 98), but win 98 was great for me, and even now it is still usable with the too old machines and old software - it works perfectly with pentium ii

another worse version was windows vista which was slow compared to xp, 7 and 8

I loved Windows 98 & 98 SE Windows ME was okay to me even though most didn't like it. Windows 2000 was okay too, XP was okay and Vista was a resource hog. Windows 7 was better than all of them. I don't even want to talk a bout Windows 3.1
