I have come to understand that the naming of the new versions of their OS are basically meaningless, as this is actually not the 10th version of Windows, but something quite different. They should get away from naming each OS with a number and go back to some unique name.Nope, it did not do that nor did I believe it would. There is a program in Linux for that but you must also sort through the thousands of files it recovers, one by one to find it. 8 and 8.1 are just evil and now MikcrSoft has dropped 9 and moved onto 10.
