What a woman eats during pregnancy does not cause depression in the child.

Depression is caused by a lack of serotonin in the brain. There could always be a lack, but then something happens and it triggers the depression.

The mother HAS to eat. Everyone HAS to eat.
So when the mother eats, the baby gets the food too.
So the baby needs the food -
And the baby gets the food.

Even if the mother eats just a little bit, the baby still gets food.
What about the mothers in Africa?
They don't eat a lot of food
They eat very little food,
but the baby they have STILL gets enough food.

Of course, it would be nice if everyone had enough food.
