Thinking practically

Solving practical problems.
There's a new machine I need to learn how to use at work. There are several steps in mastering the use of it. I'm feeling intimidated. It's a big deal.
I will just take my time the first time I use it. Even if I'm late home from work.
I must master this! Must must must!
Yet the average person will suffer no stress whatsoever dealing with such a practical problem.

Depending how complicated and how many functions one uses per task.
I'd break the functions down to what I must learn, those I should learn and those I'll never use.

I've a relatively new all singing and dancing photocopier, copying and printing is easy, but amending or entering an email address is a nightmare. No book of distractions, that's online!

What I need to do is write down the steps of doing it.
Which is worth doing as the act of writing does help one's memory remember things.

Anything new in technology can be intimating, but like me you can teach an old dog new tricks. You will figure it all out just be patient.
