lol. a coworker had a bug that he used a pull rope to start. his dad welded a pulley unto the harmonic ballencer and that is how he started that. that semi must have been an manual but i want to know if it was low on air pressure. it couldnt have been if the tire was realeased.

:clap I'm impressed, this nearly had me rolling on the floor haha! I've seen many things here in the Philippines, but haven't seen that before! Thanks for sharing this :lol

Does anyone besides me realize this is how cars used to start (sort of)? The old Model A and Model T had to be cranked, literally? The crankshaft extended out of the front of the engine, and a rotating action moved the pistons up and down in alternating fashion which in turn compressed the gases inside the chamber and combustion was created. The combustion expanded the gases inside the piston chamber which pushed down the pistons, again alternately. The process was repeated by the continuous cranking of the crank-handle until the engine started running.

Maybe this guy's flywheel isn't working.

i did and i made a reference to pull starting a 70s bug. my uncle had a 53 dodge truck with a three cylinder engine and it was both electric and crank start.
