I honestly don't understand all the hate between religions. That Christian man seemed awfully angry and provoking the Buddhist. Can't we all just get along?

well thats one way to run a person to hell.
one can counter the lies and falsehoods of another's beliefs simply by showing them logical contradictions in their own books or by simply showing how its wise to beleive in the lord.

you can just start by simply acknowledge something in common with the opposing faith then go from there. while not insulting intellegence.

the buddhist was a little hostile upon hearing the name of the lord. and the supposed man of christ should have not added fuel to the fire.

i also think something odd when people laughed at that buddhist for his belief. i have known some buddhists over the years and they arent stupid for believing what they belief, just lost.

I completely disagree. The Buddhist was hostile, but not "upon hearing the name of the lord." He was hostile because the street preacher insulted his religion and his intelligence, when he said that because the other person was Buddhist he would speak slowly so he would understand him. Anyone would be angry in that situation. "The supposed man of christ should not have added fuel to the fire"? No, he shouldn't have, but it was him who poured the gasoline and lit the match in the first place.

Lost? That's a matter of opinion. I'm not a Buddhist, but I can say that Buddhism includes some great teachings and morals. Are you saying he's lost because he just happens to not believe what you yourself believe?
