Let's play with musical chords here
:sing:guitar.
Your bitter criticisms will be appreciated. This is for those who can play the piano. In this piece, I recommend you use a musical keyboard, and select the voice Hyper Tines, DX Modern and such like. The choice of voice brings out the beauty and quality of the chords. If the absense of a keyboard you may use your piano.
You are playing on the key of C. All right chord are to be played from the middle C and you move towards the right, as inversion varies. Left chords are away from the middle C, to the left.
All chords in green are left chords and all chords in blue are right chords.
Notice that some of the left chords have dots in them e.g is (
C.G.C). You can smartly play the notes involved one after the other. Other chords do not have dots. That means you have to play all the notes at the same time. If this dot thing would be a problem to you you can avoid it and just synchronise your notes. NOTE THAT THE DOT THING APPLIES ONLY TO THE LEFT CHORDS. But if you are an expert you can decide to arpegiolise some of the notes of the right chords (the blue chords).
Where do you play the chords? Notice the red parts of each word indicated. This is the point you play the chords (I placed them near each of the red part of the words). So, hold down your chords (left and right chords) until you meet a new chord or new red.
(
D.Eb.F#D), which is a left chord means that: your left holds down the notes, D and Eb and F# and D. The difference between the first and last D is in pitch. So, you have to hold down 4 notes. Also do the same for other chords that have repeated notes but with different pitches.
Similarly, (
Eb.G.B.D), which is a right chord means that: your right hand holds down the notes, Eb and G and B and D. So, you have to hold down 4 notes.
I advice you to practise the fingering before you begin
Underlined notes are optional. You may choose never to play them.
